Detailed Description
The principles and features of this invention are described below in conjunction with the following drawings, which are set forth by way of illustration only and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.
Example one
As shown in fig. 1, the present embodiment provides a folding mechanism for a flexible screen, including: the flexible screen comprises afirst shell 2 and asecond shell 3 which are used for connecting theflexible screen 1, a connectingrod 4, a first accommodating supportingrod 5 and a second accommodating supportingrod 6.
Thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3 of the present embodiment are themselves used as a part of the mobile terminal, and may also be used as a part of the folding mechanism of the present embodiment, thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3 have mounting slots for mounting the flexible screen, one part of the flexible screen is mounted in the mounting slot of thefirst housing 2, and the other part of the flexible screen is mounted in the mounting slot of thesecond housing 3. As shown in fig. 2, 3, 5 and 6, with the relative rotation of thefirst casing 2 and the second casing 3 (i.e. the folding and unfolding of the mobile terminal), the portion of theflexible screen 1 corresponding to the rotation axis of the two casings will bend and flatten, and this portion is the deformable screen area of the flexible screen.
In this embodiment, one end of the connectingrod 4 is hinged to thefirst casing 2, and the other end is hinged to thesecond casing 3, so that thefirst casing 2 and thesecond casing 3 can rotate relatively, and theflexible screen 1 is unfolded or folded by the rotation of thefirst casing 2 and thesecond casing 3.
Specifically, the connectingrod 4 of the present embodiment has various structural forms, for example, as shown in fig. 1, the connectingrod 4 includes a main body 41, a first rotatingshaft 42 and a second rotating shaft 43 perpendicular to the main body are disposed at two ends of the main body 41, afirst shaft hole 21 adapted to the first rotatingshaft 42 is disposed at one side of thefirst housing 2, and a second shaft hole (not shown) adapted to the second rotating shaft 43 is disposed at one side of thesecond housing 3.
For another example, two shaft holes perpendicular to the main body 41 are formed at two ends of the main body 41, two rotating shafts adapted to the two shaft holes are formed at one side of thefirst casing 2, or one end of the main body 41 is provided with a rotating shaft, the other end of the main body is provided with a shaft hole, thefirst casing 2 is provided with a shaft hole adapted to the rotating shaft, and thesecond casing 3 is provided with a rotating shaft adapted to the shaft hole (none of the above structures is shown in the figure). Of course, the form of the hinge connection between the connectingrod 4 and the first andsecond housings 2 and 3 is not limited thereto, and any hinge connection known to those skilled in the art is within the scope of the present embodiment, and will not be described in detail herein.
Specifically, the number of the connectingrods 4 in this embodiment is two, and the two connectingrods 4 are installed on the upper and lower sides of the whole casing (composed of thefirst casing 2 and the second casing 3), so that the overall stability of the structure is improved. Preferably, in this embodiment, the two end portions of one side of thefirst housing 2 are both provided withfirst notches 22, the two end portions of one side of thesecond housing 3 are both provided withsecond notches 31, one portion of the connectingrod 4 is disposed in thefirst notches 22, and the other portion is disposed in thesecond notches 31, so that the connectingrod 4 is hidden in the notches, the integrity and the aesthetic property of the folding mechanism are improved, and thefirst shaft hole 21 and the second shaft hole can be directly formed in the notches, so that thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3 can rotate relatively, and theflexible screen 1 is driven to fold and unfold.
Specifically, the firstaccommodating support bar 5 and the secondaccommodating support bar 6 of the present embodiment are located between thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3, and further, between the two connectingrods 4. One side of the firstaccommodating support rod 5 is hinged to thefirst shell 2, one side of the secondaccommodating support rod 6 is hinged to one side of thesecond shell 3, the other side of the firstaccommodating support rod 5 is hinged to the other side of the secondaccommodating support rod 6, and when thefirst shell 2 and thesecond shell 3 rotate relatively, the firstaccommodating support rod 5 and the secondaccommodating support rod 6 can be driven to rotate relatively.
Referring to fig. 4 and 7, in the present embodiment, the first housing 2 is provided with a first connecting section located between the hinge of the first housing 2 and the connecting rod 4 and the hinge of the first housing 2 and the first accommodating support rod 5, the second housing 3 is provided with a second connecting section located between the hinge of the second housing 3 and the connecting rod 4 and the hinge of the second housing 3 and the second accommodating support rod 6, the projections of the first connecting section, the second connecting section, the connecting rod 4, the first accommodating support rod 5 and the second accommodating support rod 6 on the same plane form a classic five-bar linkage mechanism, specifically, the connecting rod 4 is regarded as a first rod body of the five-bar linkage mechanism, the second connecting section is regarded as a second rod body of the five-bar linkage mechanism, the second connecting section is regarded as a third rod body of the five-bar linkage mechanism, and the first accommodating support rod 5 and the second accommodating support rod 6 are regarded as a fourth rod body and a fifth rod body of the five-bar linkage mechanism, it should be noted that the connecting rod 4 and the first accommodating support rod 5 and the second accommodating support rod 6 of the present embodiment are not located on a single cross section, and the connecting rod 4 is prevented from affecting the rotation of the first accommodating support rod 5 and the second accommodating support rod 6, but the above-mentioned five-bar mechanism may be formed, and the connecting rod 4 and the two accommodating support rods are connected through the first housing 2 and the second housing 3.
As shown in fig. 4, when thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3 are in the fully unfolded state, the firstaccommodating support rod 5 and the secondaccommodating support rod 6 are collinear and attached below theflexible screen 1 to support the deformable screen area of the flexible screen, in this state, the folding mechanism is in a singular shape position and is in a mechanism dead point, theflexible screen 1 cannot be folded through thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3, the collinear accommodating support rods can only be removed through an external force, theflexible screen 1 in the fully unfolded state is supported to a certain extent, and the stability of the mobile terminal in the fully unfolded state is improved.
Referring to fig. 7, when the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 are in the fully folded state, the first receiving support rod 5 and the second receiving support rod 6 rotate to the other side of the connecting rod 4, and the first receiving support rod 5 and the second receiving support rod 6 are also in the collinear state and are attached to the lower side of the flexible screen 1, because the positions of the first receiving support rod 5 and the second receiving support rod 6 are changed, the first receiving support rod 5, the second receiving support rod 6, one side of the first housing 2 and one side of the second housing 3 together form a receiving area similar to a trapezoid (the shape of the receiving area is changed according to the width of the two receiving support rods and the length of one side of the two housings), the deformable screen area in the folded state of the flexible screen 1 can be received and supported to a certain extent, and in this state, the folding mechanism is also in the singular position, and at the dead point of the mechanism, the flexible screen 1 cannot be unfolded through the first shell 2 and the second shell 3, and the collineation of the two accommodating support rods can be removed only through external force, so that the stability of the mobile terminal in the completely unfolded state is improved.
Preferably, in order to facilitate the release of the singular position of the folding mechanism, in this embodiment, the first receivingsupport bar 5 and the secondreceiving support bar 6 are provided withhandles 7 extending outward, so that the user can break the dead point state of the mechanism by pulling thehandles 7 outward, and then close the mobile terminal by the rotation of thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3.
Preferably, the widths of the firstaccommodating support bar 5 and the secondaccommodating support bar 6 of the present embodiment are equal, and the sizes of the portions of thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3 serving as the bar bodies are also designed to be equal, so that when the mobile terminal is in the folded state, a trapezoidal accommodating space can be formed, which facilitates the accommodation of the deformable screen area of theflexible screen 1.
Specifically, the firstaccommodating support rod 5, the secondaccommodating support rod 6 and the housing assembly of the present embodiment are hinged in various ways, for example, as shown in fig. 1, a third rotation shaft hole 41 is formed at one side of the firstaccommodating support rod 5, athird rotation shaft 23 adapted to the third rotation shaft hole 51 is formed at one side of thefirst housing 2, afourth rotation shaft 61 is formed at one side of the secondaccommodating support rod 6, and a fourthrotation shaft hole 32 adapted to thefourth rotation shaft 61 is formed at one side of thesecond housing 3. Of course, the arrangement mode of the rotating shaft and the shaft hole can be replaced between the shell and the accommodating support rod as long as the rotating requirement can be met.
Specifically, the firstaccommodating support bar 5 and the secondaccommodating support bar 6 of the present embodiment have various hinge forms, for example, as shown in fig. 1, a fifth rotating shaft 52 is disposed on the other side of the firstaccommodating support bar 5, and afifth shaft hole 62 adapted to the fifth rotating shaft 52 is disposed on the other side of the secondaccommodating support bar 6; or a rotating shaft is arranged on the other side of the first accommodating support rod, and a shaft hole is arranged on the other side of the second accommodating support rod.
Of course, the hinge type between the two accommodating support rods and the housing is not limited thereto, and any hinge type known to those skilled in the art is also within the scope of the present embodiment.
Preferably, in order to facilitate the rotation and accommodation of the firstaccommodating support rod 5 and the secondaccommodating support rod 6, in this embodiment, afirst recess 24 is disposed on one side of thefirst housing 2, a second recess (not shown) is disposed on one side of thesecond housing 3, the firstaccommodating support rod 5 is mounted on one side of the firstaccommodating support rod 24, thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3 are in a completely folded state (i.e., the state shown in fig. 5 and 6), the other side of the firstaccommodating support rod 5 is rotated into thefirst recess 24, the second recess is mounted on one side of the secondaccommodating support rod 6, and when thefirst housing 2 and thesecond housing 3 are in a completely folded state, the other side of the secondaccommodating support rod 6 is rotated into the second recess.
To sum up, the folding mechanism that this embodiment provided, simple structure not only, low cost, form classic five-bar linkage through two casings, connecting rod and two receipts bracing pieces moreover, can realize the support function to the flexible screen under the function of acceping and the expansion state of flexible screen to the flexible screen under fold condition, utilize the stability when mechanism auto-lock characteristic has strengthened mobile terminal expandes completely and folds completely.
