Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only some embodiments, and not all embodiments, of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
In order to solve the problem that the success rate of switching edge user equipment in a high-load cell to a target cell is low in the existing method for realizing load balancing among cells based on the MLB technology, the embodiment of the invention provides a mobile load balancing method.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a mobile load balancing method according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 1, the method includes:
s101: the network device determines a source cell for which load balancing is required.
In the embodiment of the invention, each cell comprises a target cell and a source cell, and a load threshold is set, which can be used for measuring the maximum number of user equipment which can be accepted by the cell. When the load of the source cell is higher than the load threshold, the network device determines that the source cell with the load higher than the load threshold needs to perform load balancing.
S102: the network device determines at least one target cell for load balancing the source cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the load of the target cell is more than or equal to the load threshold, if the target cell accesses the user equipment again, the service performance of the target cell is reduced, even the access of the user equipment fails, so the network equipment performs load balancing on the source cell by determining at least one target cell with the load lower than the load threshold, ensures that the target cell for performing load balancing on the source cell can still access the user equipment, and further improves the switching success rate of the user equipment in the source cell to the target cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the network device determines, according to the order from high priority to low priority of the inter-frequency cell and the intra-frequency cell, at least one target cell for load balancing of the source cell in the target cell which is the inter-frequency cell with the source cell and in the target cell which is the intra-frequency cell with the source cell, where the priority of the inter-frequency cell is higher than the priority of the intra-frequency cell. By preferentially selecting the target cell which is the pilot frequency cell with the source cell and carrying out load balancing on the source cell, the signal interference between the source cell and the target cell for switching can be reduced.
S103: and the network equipment determines a target cell meeting a switching standard in the at least one target cell according to the MR message of the source cell and/or the MR message of the at least one target cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when determining at least one target cell for load balancing a source cell, the network device does not consider a quality condition of the at least one target cell, so that some target cells that do not meet a handover criterion exist in the at least one target cell determined by the network device.
S104: and the network equipment selects a target cell for carrying out mobile load balancing on the source cell from the target cells meeting the switching standard.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the network device selects the target cell for performing mobile load balancing on the source cell according to the finally determined order of the load ranks from low to high of the occupied resources in the target cell meeting the handover criterion.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the network device may determine, according to the MR message of the source cell or the MR message of the at least one target cell, a target cell that satisfies the handover criterion among the at least one target cell. The network device may also determine a target cell satisfying a handover criterion in the at least one target cell according to the MR message of the source cell and the MR message of the at least one target cell, which is described in detail below.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a process of the network device determining, according to the MR message of the at least one target cell, a target cell that meets a handover criterion in the at least one target cell is described in detail below.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for determining a target cell that satisfies a handover criterion according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, including:
s201: the network device acquires an MR message of a target cell included in the at least one target cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the MR message of the target cell includes MR messages reported by each user equipment in the target cell, the MR messages reported by each user equipment include information of a cell in which the user equipment is located and information of a neighboring cell of the user equipment, and the information of the cell in which the user equipment is located and the information of the neighboring cell of the user equipment respectively reflect quality conditions of the cell in which the user equipment is located and the neighboring cell of the cell in which the user equipment is located.
S202: and the network equipment determines the packet loss rate of a target cell included in the at least one target cell according to the acquired MR message, wherein the packet loss rate of the target cell represents the signal interference condition and the service bearing capacity of the target cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the network device determines, according to the packet loss rate field of the target cell included in the acquired MR message of the target cell, the uplink and downlink packet loss rates of the target cell included in the at least one target cell, respectively. Specifically, the MR message of the target cell acquired by the network device includes MR messages reported by each user equipment in the target cell, and the uplink and downlink packet loss rates in the MR message of each user equipment only reflect the packet loss rate of a certain area point of the target cell where the user equipment is located, but cannot reflect the packet loss rate of the target cell where the user equipment is located, so that the network device needs to count the average value of the packet loss rates in the MR messages reported by all the user equipment in the target cell, and further determine the packet loss rate of the target cell. The network device can judge the current signal quality condition and the service bearing capacity of the target cell through the packet loss rate of the target cell, judge that the current signal quality of the target cell is poor and the service bearing capacity of the target cell is poor at the moment if the packet loss rate of the target cell is higher, and judge that the current signal quality of the target cell is better and the service bearing capacity of the target cell is stronger at the moment if the packet loss rate of the target cell is lower.
S203: and the network equipment determines a target cell with the packet loss rate of the target cell smaller than a preset first threshold value in the at least one target cell according to the packet loss rate of the target cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a network device presets a first threshold for measuring whether a packet loss rate of a target cell meets a handover criterion, the target cell with the packet loss rate higher than the first threshold does not meet the handover criterion, and the network device determines, according to the counted packet loss rate of the target cell, the target cell with the packet loss rate of the target cell smaller than the preset first threshold, which is included in the at least one target cell.
S204: and the network equipment determines the target cell with the packet loss rate of the target cell smaller than a preset first threshold value in the at least one target cell as the target cell meeting the switching standard.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the network device may delete the target cell having the packet loss rate higher than the first threshold value from the at least one target cell, and further determine the target cell having the packet loss rate smaller than the preset first threshold value, as the target cell meeting the handover criterion.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a process of the network device determining, according to the MR message of the source cell, a target cell that meets a handover criterion in the at least one target cell is described in detail below.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of another method for determining a target cell that meets a handover criterion according to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, including:
s301: and the network equipment acquires the MR message of the source cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the MR message of the source cell includes MR messages of all user equipments in the source cell.
S302: and the network equipment determines a TA value and a PHR value included in the MR message reported by each user equipment according to the MR message reported by each user equipment included in the MR message of the source cell, wherein both the TA value and the PHR value are used for determining the distance between the user equipment and the base station of the source cell.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the network device determines, by obtaining the MR message of each user equipment in the source cell, a cell corresponding to the ID of at least one neighboring cell in the neighboring cell field of the MR message as a target cell for load balancing the source cell, and the target cell determined by the method includes a neighboring cell reported by a non-edge user equipment in the source cell, so as to finally realize the mobile load balancing of the source cell. Therefore, in the embodiment of the invention, the edge user equipment in the source cell is determined through the TA value and the PHR value in the MR message of the user equipment in the source cell, and the accurate edge user equipment is switched to the target cell. Compared with the method that the prior MLB technology only determines the edge user equipment by Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP), the network equipment in the embodiment of the invention can accurately determine the edge user equipment in the source cell according to the TA value and the PHR value which are included in the MR message reported by each user equipment in the source cell.
In the embodiment of the invention, the TA value is the uplink sending time of the user equipment, so the network equipment can determine the distance between the user equipment and the base station of the source cell through the TA value, and if the TA value of the user equipment is large, the user equipment is far away from the base station of the source cell, namely the user equipment can be judged to be in the edge area of the source cell. By selecting the TA value as the criterion for judging the user equipment at the edge of the source cell, the wrong judgment of a target cell determined by the RSRP value is avoided, and the absolute distance between the user equipment in the source cell and the base station of the source cell can be determined by the TA value, so that the problem of inaccurate RSRP judgment caused by blocking is avoided. The PHR value is the margin of the user equipment in the source cell relative to the configured maximum transmitting power, the margin represents the difference value between the estimated value of the transmitting power of the source cell and the configured maximum transmitting power, the measured data can be used for analyzing the transmitting power of the user equipment, the PHR value of the user equipment indicates that the user equipment in the source cell is far away from the base station of the source cell, namely, is in the edge area of the source cell, whether the user equipment is in the edge area of the source cell is analyzed through the TA value and the PHR value of the user equipment in the source cell in a combined manner, the edge user equipment in the source cell can be more accurately determined, and the switching rationality of the user equipment is improved through switching the accurate edge user equipment.
S303: and the network equipment determines the user equipment of which the TA value is smaller than a preset second threshold value and the PHR value is larger than a preset third threshold value.
In the embodiment of the invention, a second threshold value of a TA value and a third threshold value of a PHR value of user equipment in a source cell are preset, and the network equipment determines the user equipment of which the TA value is smaller than the preset second threshold value and the PHR value is larger than the preset third threshold value through the TA value and the PHR value in an MR message of the user equipment in the source cell, namely the user equipment at the edge of the source cell is determined through the combination of the TA value and the PHR value.
S304: and the network equipment determines a target cell corresponding to the target cell ID through the target cell ID contained in the MR message of the user equipment, wherein the TA value is greater than a preset second threshold value, and the PHR value is less than a preset third threshold value.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the network equipment determines the edge user equipment in the source cell, the target cell corresponding to the target cell ID is determined through the target cell ID contained in the MR message of the edge user equipment, namely the adjacent cell of the edge user equipment is determined. Because the source cell needing load balancing is finally realized by switching the edge user equipment in the source cell to the target cell, the embodiment of the invention determines the target cell for load balancing the source cell by accurately determining the edge user equipment and further by the MR message of the edge user equipment, and further improves the switching rationality of the user equipment and further improves the switching success rate of the edge user equipment by switching the accurate edge user equipment.
S305: and the network equipment determines the target cell corresponding to the target cell ID in the at least one target cell as the target cell meeting the switching standard.
In the embodiment of the invention, the target cell meeting the switching standard is determined in the at least one target cell through the MR message of the edge user equipment of the source cell, and the edge user equipment in the source cell is accurately switched to the adjacent cell of the edge user equipment, wherein the adjacent cell is the target cell determined according to the edge user equipment, so that the switching success rate of the edge user equipment is improved.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the network device determines, according to the MR message of the source cell and the MR message of the at least one target cell, a process of determining, in the at least one target cell, a target cell that meets a handover criterion, that is, a combination of the process of determining, by the network device, the target cell that meets the handover criterion in the at least one target cell according to the MR message of the source cell and the MR message of the at least one target cell, which is not described in detail in this embodiment of the present invention.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a mobile load balancing device which can be applied to the network equipment, and the composition and the application of the device are described in detail below.

In this embodiment of the present invention, theprocessing unit 102 determines, according to the MR message of the at least one target cell, a target cell that meets a handover criterion among the at least one target cell, as follows:
acquiring an MR message of a target cell included in the at least one target cell; determining the packet loss rate of a target cell included in the at least one target cell according to the acquired MR message, wherein the packet loss rate of the target cell represents the signal interference condition and the service bearing capacity of the target cell; determining a target cell with a packet loss rate of the target cell smaller than a preset first threshold value, wherein the packet loss rate of the target cell is included in the at least one target cell; and determining the target cell with the packet loss rate of the target cell smaller than a preset first threshold value in the at least one target cell as the target cell meeting the switching standard.
In this embodiment of the present invention, theprocessing unit 102 determines, according to the MR message of the source cell, a target cell that meets a handover criterion among the at least one target cell, as follows:
acquiring MR information of the source cell; determining a Timing Advance (TA) value and a Power Headroom (PHR) value which are included in the MR message reported by each user equipment according to the MR message reported by each user equipment and included in the MR message of the source cell, wherein the TA value and the PHR value are both used for determining the distance between the user equipment and the base station of the source cell; determining the user equipment with the TA value smaller than a preset second threshold value and the PHR value larger than a preset third threshold value; determining a target cell corresponding to the target cell ID through the target cell identity ID contained in the MR message of the user equipment of which the TA value is greater than a preset second threshold value and the PHR value is less than a preset third threshold value; and determining the target cell corresponding to the target cell ID in the at least one target cell as the target cell meeting the switching standard.

Because the signal interference of the target cell meeting the switching standard is small and the service bearing capacity is strong, the target cell meeting the switching standard is determined according to the MR message of the source cell and/or at least one target cell, the load of the source cell is balanced, and the switching success rate of the user equipment in the source cell is improved.
