During assembly, the bottom of the filter is pressed downwards on the outer sealing member by manpower, so that the assembly is completed, the assembly work efficiency is low, in addition, whether the sealing member assembly meets the sealing requirement or not is not detected, and the quality and the sealing effect of the filter product cannot be ensured.

Referring to fig. 1, 2 and 4, the leak detection assembly 5 for an external packing used for producing a filter of the present invention comprises a frame 1 and a leak detection base 54, wherein a leak detection contact 51 is installed at the top of the leak detection base 54, the leak detection contact 51 is connected with a leak detection jacking power source 53 (which can be a leak detection jacking cylinder) through a leak detection adjusting block 52, and an assembly pressure-restoring assembly 6 (including an assembly pressure-restoring cylinder) is installed on the frame 1 and above the leak detection base 54 and the leak detection contact 51.
