Detailed Description
Generally, after a television receives a network video or a multimedia video through an input port of the television, before the television plays the network video or the multimedia video, the television firstly processes a preconfigured first image quality adjusting parameter by using an SCE algorithm preconfigured in the television and corresponding to the input port to obtain a second image quality adjusting parameter corresponding to the input port, and plays the network video or the multimedia video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter. When the network video or the multimedia video is played according to the method, the obtained second image quality adjusting parameter may not be suitable for some network videos or multimedia videos due to differences among different network videos or multimedia videos, so that the image quality of a television display picture is poor.
In order to solve the above problem, embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for playing a video, where the apparatus is taken as an electronic device as an example, because the electronic device may determine an SCE algorithm corresponding to a display parameter according to the display parameter of a video to be played by the electronic device, and process a first image quality adjustment parameter preconfigured in the electronic device through the SCE algorithm to obtain a second image quality adjustment parameter, the second image quality adjustment parameter is more suitable for the video, so that when the electronic device plays the video using the second image quality adjustment parameter, the image quality of a display screen of the video to be played by the electronic device may be improved to a certain extent.
The method for playing the video provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to a scene that the electronic equipment plays the network video or the multimedia video (for example, the video downloaded to Universal Serial Bus (USB) equipment).
The execution subject of the method for playing a video provided by the embodiment of the present invention may be a device for playing a video, and the device may be the electronic device described above, or may be a functional entity/unit/module or the like in the electronic device, which can implement the method for playing a video provided by the embodiment of the present invention, and the specific implementation may be determined according to the actual application requirements, and the present invention is not limited specifically.
Optionally, the electronic device may be a television. Preferably, the television may be a smart television.
In a specific implementation, the method for playing a video provided by the embodiment of the present invention may be implemented by an electronic device executing a corresponding software program. Illustratively, this may be achieved by a processor of the electronic device executing a corresponding software program.
In order to better understand the technical solution and the specific implementation manner of the embodiment of the present invention, in the following method embodiments, an execution main body of the method for playing a video provided by the embodiment of the present invention is an electronic device as an example, and the method for playing a video provided by the embodiment of the present invention is exemplarily described.
The following describes in detail a method and an apparatus for playing a video according to an embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for playing a video, where the method may include:
s101, the electronic equipment obtains display parameters of a video to be played by the electronic equipment.
In the embodiment of the invention, the electronic equipment can acquire the display parameters of the video from the video to be played. Specifically, after the main control chip of the electronic device obtains each frame of image of a video to be played by the electronic device, the electronic device first needs to decode the image, and in the decoding process, the electronic device can obtain the display parameters of the video.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the video to be played by the electronic device is a multimedia video, since the display parameters of each frame of image of the multimedia video are the same, the electronic device may execute the method for playing a video provided by the embodiment of the present invention before playing the first frame of image of the entire multimedia video. If the video played by the electronic device is a network video, since the display parameter of each frame of image of the network video may change with the change of the network environment where the electronic device is located, the electronic device may execute the method for playing the video according to the embodiment of the present invention before playing the first frame of image of the entire network video and before playing the first frame of image with the changed display parameter. Specifically, the present invention may be determined according to an actual application scenario, and is not particularly limited.
Optionally, the display parameter of the video to be played by the electronic device may include a resolution, or the display parameter may include a resolution and a frame rate.
The following takes table 1 as an example to further describe in detail the display parameters of the video and the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters provided by the embodiment of the present invention.

For example, as shown in table 1, when the display parameter of the video to be played by the electronic device, acquired by the electronic device, includes a resolution, the resolution may be 480P, 576P, 720P, 1080P, or the like, shown in table 1. When the display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic device, which are acquired by the electronic device, include a resolution and a frame rate, the resolution and the frame rate may be 4K2K and 24Hz, 4K2K and 30Hz, 4K2K and 50Hz, 4K2K and 60Hz, or 4K2K and 120Hz, and the like, shown in table 1.
Further, as shown in table 1, when the display parameter acquired by the electronic device is the resolution 720P, the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution 720P determined by the electronic device is SCE algorithm 3. When the display parameters acquired by the electronic device are the resolution 4K2K and the frame rate 60Hz, the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution 4K2K and the frame rate 60Hz determined by the electronic device is SCE algorithm 8.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, generally, frame rates corresponding to lower resolutions are all fixed and unchangeable, for example, the resolutions 480P, 576P, 720P, 1080P, and the like, and the frame rates corresponding to the resolutions are all fixed and unchangeable generally, so in this case, the display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic device, which are acquired by the electronic device in the embodiment of the present invention, may only include the resolution. Accordingly, since the frame rate corresponding to the higher resolution may generally be changed, for example, the resolution 4K2K described above, the frame rate corresponding to the resolution is generally changed, and thus the display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic device, which are acquired by the electronic device in the embodiment of the present invention, may include the resolution and the frame rate. In this way, for videos with different resolutions or videos with the same resolution but different frame rates, the method for playing a video according to the embodiment of the present invention can process the preconfigured first image quality adjustment parameter according to the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution or the resolution and the frame rate to obtain the corresponding second image quality adjustment parameter, and then when the electronic device plays a video using the second image quality adjustment parameter, the image quality of the display screen of the video to be played by the electronic device can be improved to a certain extent.
The display parameters of the video and the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters shown in table 1 are only exemplary lists, and do not limit the embodiments of the present invention in any way, that is, the display parameters of the video and the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters in the embodiments of the present invention include, but are not limited to, the ones listed in table 1, and the details may be determined according to practical application scenarios, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited.
Further, in the embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may execute the method for playing a video according to the embodiment of the present invention in real time, so that when the electronic device plays a network video and a display parameter of a video to be played by the electronic device changes due to an influence of a network factor (for example, if a current network signal is delayed, the video to be played by the electronic device is switched from a video with a resolution of 720P to a video with a resolution of 576P, and the content of the video is not changed, but only the resolution of the video is switched), the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter determined by the electronic device also changes accordingly. In other words, in the embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may obtain the display parameters of the video to be played in real time, determine the corresponding SCE algorithm according to the display parameters, then process the preconfigured first image quality adjusting parameter by using the SCE algorithm to obtain the second image quality adjusting parameter, and play the network video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter, so that the electronic device may obtain the image quality adjusting parameters suitable for the network videos with different display parameters in real time, thereby adapting to the network videos with different display parameters played by the electronic device in real time, further improving the image quality of the display screen of the network video played by the electronic device in real time, and meeting the image quality requirement of the user on the display screen of the electronic device in real time. For example, when the electronic device plays a network video with a resolution of 1080P, due to a problem of delay of a current network signal, the electronic device may automatically switch to play the network video with the resolution of 720P (that is, usually, smoothness of video playing needs to be ensured first, and the resolution of the played video can be appropriately reduced on the premise that the video playing is smooth), at this time, the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution of 1080P is not suitable for the network video with the resolution of 720P to be played, and therefore, the electronic device needs to re-determine the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution of 720P.
The electronic device may be a television, and the video to be played by the electronic device may be a network video or a multimedia video, which may be determined according to an actual application scenario, and the present invention is not limited specifically.
And S102, the electronic equipment determines an SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter according to the display parameter.
When the display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic equipment, which are acquired by the electronic equipment, include a resolution, the electronic equipment determines an SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution, and when the display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic equipment, which are acquired by the electronic equipment, include a resolution and a frame rate, the electronic equipment determines an SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution and the frame rate.
For example, when the display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic device, which are acquired by the electronic device, include a resolution, and the resolution is 1080P, the electronic device determines an SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution 1080P; when the display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic device, which are acquired by the electronic device, include a resolution and a frame rate, the resolution is 4K2K, and the frame rate is 30Hz, the electronic device determines an SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution 4K2K and the frame rate 30 Hz.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, although the frame rate corresponding to the lower resolution is generally fixed and unchanged, in a specific implementation, for the videos with the lower resolution, the display parameters acquired by the electronic device in the embodiment of the present invention may also include the resolution and the frame rate. For example, for videos with resolutions of 720P and 1080P, the display parameters acquired by the electronic device may include a resolution of 720P and a frame rate of 60Hz, and a resolution of 1080P and a frame rate of 60 Hz.
S103, the electronic equipment adopts the SCE algorithm to process the first image quality adjusting parameter pre-configured in the electronic equipment to obtain a second image quality adjusting parameter.
In the embodiment of the present invention, a first image quality adjustment parameter (which may be understood as a basic image quality adjustment parameter) may be preconfigured in the electronic device, and when the electronic device needs to play a video, since the first image quality adjustment parameter may not be suitable for the video, the electronic device first needs to process the first image quality adjustment parameter by using a corresponding SCE algorithm to obtain a second image quality adjustment parameter, and then the electronic device can play the video by using the second image quality adjustment parameter. In the embodiment of the invention, the electronic equipment can determine the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter according to the display parameter of the video to be played, so that the second image quality adjusting parameter obtained by processing the first image quality adjusting parameter by using the SCE algorithm can be ensured to be more suitable for the video, and the image quality of a display picture of the video played by the electronic equipment can be improved to a certain extent when the electronic equipment plays the video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter.
Alternatively, the first image quality adjustment parameter may include at least one of contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue, and the second image quality adjustment parameter may include at least one of contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue.
For example, in an embodiment of the present invention, since the second image quality adjustment parameter is obtained by processing the first image quality adjustment parameter by the electronic device using a corresponding SCE algorithm, a correspondence relationship between the first image quality adjustment parameter and the second image quality adjustment parameter may be:
the first image quality adjusting parameter comprises at least one of contrast, brightness, saturation and tone; accordingly, the second image quality adjustment parameter also includes at least one of contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue. That is, the parameter items included in the first image quality adjustment parameter are the same as the parameter items included in the second image quality adjustment parameter. For example, the first image quality adjustment parameter includes a contrast, and the second image quality adjustment parameter also includes a contrast; the first image quality adjusting parameter comprises brightness, and the second image quality adjusting parameter also comprises brightness; the first image quality adjustment parameter includes saturation and hue, and the second image quality adjustment parameter also includes saturation and hue. Specifically, the description that the parameter items included in the first image quality adjustment parameter are the same as the parameter items included in the second image quality adjustment parameter is not repeated here.
The first image quality adjustment parameter and the second image quality adjustment parameter are only exemplary ones, and do not limit the embodiments of the present invention at all, that is, the first image quality adjustment parameter and the second image quality adjustment parameter in the embodiments of the present invention include, but are not limited to, the ones listed in the description of the first image quality adjustment parameter and the second image quality adjustment parameter, which may be determined according to the actual application scenario, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic device plays the network video or the multimedia video with the resolution of 1080P, the electronic device obtains the display parameter of the network video or the multimedia video as the resolution of 1080P, so that the electronic device determines the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution of 1080P, processes the preconfigured first image quality adjusting parameter by using the SCE algorithm to obtain the second image quality adjusting parameter, and then plays the network video or the multimedia video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter, that is, the network video or the multimedia video played by the electronic device by using the second image quality adjusting parameter can improve the image quality of the display picture of the network video or the multimedia video played by the electronic device, thereby meeting the image quality requirement of a user on the display picture of the electronic device. When the electronic equipment plays the network video or the multimedia video with the resolution of 4K2K and the frame rate of 30Hz, the electronic equipment obtains the display parameters of the network video or the multimedia video as the resolution of 4K2K and the frame rate of 30Hz, so that the electronic equipment determines the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution of 4K2K and the frame rate of 30Hz, processes the preconfigured first image quality adjusting parameter by adopting the SCE algorithm to obtain a second image quality adjusting parameter, and then plays the network video or the multimedia video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter, thereby improving the image quality of the display picture of the network video or the multimedia video played by the electronic equipment, and meeting the image quality requirement of a user on the display picture of the electronic equipment.
And S104, the electronic equipment plays the video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the electronic device obtains the second image quality adjusting parameter, the electronic device plays the video to be played by the electronic device by using the second image quality adjusting parameter, so that the image quality of the display picture of the video played by the electronic device can be improved to a certain extent.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for playing a video, wherein electronic equipment acquires display parameters of the video to be played by the electronic equipment; determining an SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters according to the display parameters; processing a first image quality adjusting parameter pre-configured in the electronic equipment by adopting the SCE algorithm to obtain a second image quality adjusting parameter; and playing the video using the second picture quality adjusting parameter.
Based on the above technical solution, in the embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may determine, according to the display parameter of the video to be played by the electronic device, the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter, and process the first image quality adjustment parameter preconfigured in the electronic device by using the SCE algorithm to obtain the second image quality adjustment parameter, so that the second image quality adjustment parameter is more suitable for the video, and when the electronic device plays the video by using the second image quality adjustment parameter, the image quality of the display screen of the video to be played by the electronic device may be improved to a certain extent.
Optionally, with reference to fig. 1, as shown in fig. 2, in the method for playing a video according to the embodiment of the present invention, after S101, the method for playing a video may further include S105:
s105, the electronic equipment acquires the area information of the electronic equipment.
Wherein the region information may be a listed region of the electronic device. Specifically, the region information may be region information, such as an asian region, a european region, or a north american region; alternatively, the region information may be country information, such as china, the united states, germany, or the like.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the area information may be set by a manufacturer in the electronic device by default, or may be obtained by automatic positioning when the electronic device is first powered on, or may be manually set by a user in the electronic device, and specifically, the area information may be set according to actual use requirements, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
Further, as shown in fig. 2, the S102 may specifically include:
s102a, the electronic device determines, according to the display parameter and the area information, an SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter and the area information.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the electronic device obtains the display parameter of the video to be played by the electronic device and the area information of the electronic device, the electronic device may determine, according to the display parameter and the area information, the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter and the area information.
Specifically, since users in different regions may have different image quality requirements for the display screen of the electronic device, and thus the image quality requirements for the electronic device to play videos with the same display parameters by the users in different regions may be different, when the electronic device plays videos with certain display parameters in different regions, the electronic device needs to select an SCE algorithm corresponding to both the region and the display parameters to process a first image quality adjusting parameter preconfigured in the electronic device, so that an obtained second image quality adjusting parameter can be more suitable for the video, and when the electronic device plays the video using the second image quality adjusting parameter, the image quality of the display screen of the video played by the electronic device can be improved to a certain extent, thereby satisfying the image quality requirements for the display screen of the electronic device by the users.
The following takes table 2 as an example to further describe in detail the display parameters and the area information of the video and the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters and the area information provided by the embodiment of the present invention.

For example, as shown in table 2, when the display parameter acquired by the electronic device is the resolution 720P and the region information is the north american region, the SCE algorithm determined by the electronic device and corresponding to the resolution 720P and the north american region is SCE algorithm 1. When the display parameters acquired by the electronic device are the resolution 4K2K and the frame rate 60Hz, and the region information is the european region, the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution 4K2K and the frame rate 60Hz and the european region determined by the electronic device is the SCE algorithm 12.
The display parameters, the area information, and the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters and the area information of the video shown in table 2 above are only exemplary lists, and do not limit any limitation to the embodiment of the present invention, that is, the display parameters, the area information, and the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters and the area information of the video in the embodiment of the present invention include, but are not limited to, the ones listed in table 2 above, and may be determined according to the actual application scenario, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the region of the electronic device on the market is the north american region and the electronic device plays the network video or the multimedia video with the resolution of 1080P, the electronic device acquires that the display parameter of the network video or the multimedia video is the resolution of 1080P and the region information of the electronic device is the north american region, so that the electronic device determines the SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution of 1080P and the north american region, processes the preconfigured first image quality adjusting parameter by using the SCE algorithm to obtain the second image quality adjusting parameter, and then plays the network video or the multimedia video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter, thereby improving the image quality of the display picture of the network video or the multimedia played by the electronic device and meeting the requirement of a user on the display picture of the electronic device. When the market region of the electronic equipment is a European region and the electronic equipment plays a network video or a multimedia video with a resolution of 1080P, the electronic equipment acquires that the display parameter of the network video or the multimedia video is the resolution of 1080P and acquires that the region information of the electronic equipment is the European region, so that the electronic equipment determines an SCE algorithm corresponding to the resolution of 1080P and the European region, processes the pre-configured first image quality adjusting parameter by adopting the SCE algorithm to obtain a second image quality adjusting parameter, and then plays the network video or the multimedia video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter, thereby improving the image quality of the display picture of the network video or the multimedia played by the electronic equipment and meeting the image quality requirement of a user on the display picture of the electronic equipment.
According to the method for playing the video provided by the embodiment of the invention, the electronic device can determine the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter according to the display parameter of the video to be played by the electronic device, and the SCE algorithm is adopted to process the first image quality adjusting parameter pre-configured in the electronic device to obtain the second image quality adjusting parameter, so that the second image quality adjusting parameter is more suitable for the video, and the image quality of the display picture of the video to be played by the electronic device can be improved to a certain extent when the electronic device plays the video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter.
Optionally, with reference to fig. 2 and as shown in fig. 3, in the method for playing a video according to an embodiment of the present invention, the step S102a may specifically include:
s102b, the electronic device determines, according to the display parameter and the area information, an SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter and the area information from a plurality of SCE algorithms pre-configured in the electronic device.
In the embodiment of the invention, a plurality of SCE algorithms can be preconfigured in the electronic device, and each SCE algorithm in the plurality of SCE algorithms corresponds to one display parameter and one region information respectively.
In a possible implementation manner, the plurality of SCE algorithms may include SCE algorithms corresponding to a plurality of region information and a plurality of display parameters, respectively, and in this implementation manner, each region information may correspond to the same display parameter, but correspond to different SCE algorithms, for example, the correspondence between the display parameters, the region information, and the SCE algorithms corresponding to the display parameters and the region information as shown in table 2 above.
In another possible implementation manner, the SCE algorithms may only include SCE algorithms corresponding to the region information of the electronic device listing region and the display parameters, such as the display parameters, the north american region (assuming that the listing region of the electronic device is the north american region), and the correspondence between the SCE algorithms corresponding to the display parameters and the north american region as shown in table 2, in which case the electronic device does not need to execute S105, S102a, and S102b in the above method embodiment.
For the specific description and the corresponding relationship of the display parameters, the area information, and the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters and the area information, reference may be made to table 2 and the related description of table 2, which is not repeated herein.
According to the method for playing the video, provided by the embodiment of the invention, as the plurality of SCE algorithms are preconfigured in the electronic equipment, after the electronic equipment acquires the display parameters of the video to be played and the area information of the electronic equipment, the electronic equipment can determine the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameters and the area information from the plurality of SCE algorithms, and then process the first picture quality adjusting parameter preconfigured in the electronic equipment by adopting the SCE algorithm to obtain the second picture quality adjusting parameter, so that the second picture quality adjusting parameter is more suitable for the video, and thus when the electronic equipment plays the video by using the second picture quality adjusting parameter, the picture quality of the display picture of the video to be played by the electronic equipment can be improved to a certain extent.
As shown in fig. 4, an embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for playing a video, which is applied to an electronic device, and is configured to perform the steps performed by the electronic device in the method embodiments shown in fig. 1, fig. 2, or fig. 3. The apparatus may comprise units/modules corresponding to the respective steps. Illustratively, the apparatus may include:
the acquiring unit 10 is configured to acquire display parameters of a video to be played by the electronic device; a determining unit 11, configured to determine, according to the display parameter acquired by the acquiring unit 10, an SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter; a processing unit 12, configured to process, by using the SCE algorithm determined by the determining unit 11, a first image quality adjustment parameter preconfigured in the electronic device to obtain a second image quality adjustment parameter; a playing unit 13, configured to play the video using the second picture quality adjustment parameter obtained by the processing unit 12.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, the display parameter includes a resolution; alternatively, the display parameters include resolution and frame rate.
Optionally, the obtaining unit 10 is further configured to obtain area information of the electronic device after obtaining display parameters of a video to be played by the electronic device; the determining unit 11 is specifically configured to determine, according to the display parameter and the area information acquired by the acquiring unit 10, an SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter and the area information.
Optionally, the determining unit 11 is specifically configured to determine, according to the display parameter and the area information acquired by the acquiring unit 10, the SCE algorithm corresponding to the display parameter and the area information from a plurality of SCE algorithms preconfigured in the electronic device, where each SCE algorithm in the plurality of SCE algorithms corresponds to one display parameter and one area information respectively.
Optionally, the first image quality adjustment parameter includes at least one of contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue; accordingly, the second image quality adjustment parameter includes at least one of contrast, brightness, saturation, and hue.
It should be noted that, for the description of the display parameter, the SCE algorithm, the first image quality adjustment parameter, the second image quality adjustment parameter, the area information, and the like, reference may be specifically made to the related description in the embodiments shown in fig. 1, fig. 2, or fig. 3, and details thereof are not repeated here.
Optionally, the device for playing the video provided by the embodiment of the present invention may be an electronic device, and the electronic device may be a television. Preferably, the television may be a smart television.
It can be understood that the apparatus for playing a video according to the embodiment of the present invention may correspond to the electronic device in the method for playing a video according to the embodiment described above with reference to fig. 1, fig. 2, or fig. 3, and the division and/or the functions of the modules in the apparatus for playing a video according to the embodiment are all for implementing the method flows shown in fig. 1, fig. 2, or fig. 3, and are not repeated here to avoid repetition.
Each functional module may also correspond to a corresponding hardware entity, for example, a hardware entity such as a processor, a memory, a system bus, and an interface circuit of the electronic device. In specific implementation, a corresponding hardware entity can be selected according to use requirements, and the method for playing the video provided by the embodiment of the invention is implemented by combining corresponding software.
Illustratively, the actions performed by the above-mentioned obtaining unit 10, determining unit 11, processing unit 12 and playing unit 13 may all be implemented by a processor executing corresponding software programs stored in a memory. The processor, memory and interface circuits may be coupled via a system bus and may communicate with each other.
The embodiment of the invention provides a device for playing a video, which is applied to electronic equipment, and can determine an SCE algorithm corresponding to a display parameter according to the display parameter of the video to be played by the electronic equipment, and process a first image quality adjusting parameter pre-configured in the electronic equipment by adopting the SCE algorithm to obtain a second image quality adjusting parameter, so that the second image quality adjusting parameter is more suitable for the video, and the image quality of a display picture of the video to be played by the device can be improved to a certain extent when the device plays the video by using the second image quality adjusting parameter.
