Background technique

Backlight modules are widely used in liquid crystal display devices, computer keyboards, mobile phone buttons, advertising billboards and other devices that require light sources to provide the planar light sources required by such devices. In particular, in recent years, the market demand for liquid crystal display devices has grown significantly. In order to meet the functional and appearance requirements of liquid crystal display devices, the designs of backlight modules used in liquid crystal display devices are also increasingly diversified.

Generally speaking, the backlight module used for the liquid crystal display device needs to have good uniformity of the output light source so as to make the image display effect of the liquid crystal display device uniform. Traditionally, backlight modules are mainly divided into two types: edge-lit and direct-lit. Among them, the direct-lit backlight module has the advantage that the area of the light source is not limited. As shown in FIG. 1 , in the direct type backlight module, several lamp tubes 10 are directly arranged side by side on thelamp tube bracket 70 . Aguide wire 11 connected to an electrode protrudes from the end of thelamp tube 10 . Theguide wire 11 is welded to thewire 50 , and thewire 50 extends to theconnector 60 , and theconnector 60 is electrically connected to theconverter 30 .

However, when the backlight module needs to be reworked or repaired, this traditional lamp assembly design needs to disassemble each part separately, which makes the process difficult and easy to cause damage. In addition, this traditional assembly process is usually time-consuming, thereby increasing the overall production cost.

In this embodiment, thesignal output part 710 and the signalsource connection part 730 are two ends of the sameconductive terminal 850, and theconductive terminal 850 is covered by theseat body 800; in other words, thesignal output part 710 and the signalsource connection part 730 At least the electrical connection part is provided in an integral molding manner. In addition, thesignal output portion 710 is exposed at thefirst end 810 for connection with thesignal input portion 530 of the lightsource connection base 500; the signalsource connection portion 730 is exposed at thesecond end 820 for connection with the signal source contact 230 of thesignal source module 200 , as shown in Figure 9a and Figure 9b.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 a and FIG. 7 b , thesignal input portion 530 of the lightsource connection base 500 includes ahollow pin 430 extending outward from thesecond surface 420 of thebody 400 . Theconductive terminal 450 for electrical connection extends into thehollow pin 430 . In the embodiment shown in FIG. 8a and FIG. 8b, thesignal output portion 710 of thesignal connection seat 700 includes aninsertion hole 830 recessed from thefirst end 810 of theseat body 800, and theconductive terminal 850 for electrical connection is Extends intojack 830 . When thelight source connector 500 is combined with thesignal connector 700, as shown in Fig. 9a and Fig. 9b, thepin 430 is inserted into thesocket 830, so that theconductive terminals 450, 850 of the two are connected to form an electrical connection state. In addition, the outer diameter of thepin 430 and the inner diameter of theinsertion hole 830 can be designed to closely engage the two, that is, the outer diameter of thepin 430 can be equal to or slightly larger than the inner diameter of theinsertion hole 830 . When force is applied to press thepin 430 into theinsertion hole 830 , a tight joint effect can be obtained to increase the strength of the connection. However, in different embodiments, the outer diameter of thepin 430 may also be slightly smaller than the inner diameter of theinsertion hole 830 to obtain the effect of convenient assembly. In addition, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 10 a , thepin 430 may also be disposed on thesignal connection base 700 , and the socket may be disposed on the lightsource connection base 500 . This embodiment can also obtain a similar combination effect.

As shown in FIGS. 7 a and 7 b , thebody 400 further includes aside wall 470 . Theside wall 470 is disposed on the edge of thefirst surface 410 and is located on a side of the lightsource conducting portion 510 . In this embodiment, theside wall 470 forms a space surrounded by three sides and has an opening on one side, and contains the lightsource conducting portion 510 therein. Thelight source 100 can protrude into the space through one side of the opening. The setting of theside wall 470 preferably has the functions of shading and protecting the connection between thelight source 100 and the lightsource conducting portion 510 ; however, in different embodiments, theside wall 470 can also be set in a manner of facing each other.

Also in this embodiment, thebody 400 also includes afirst positioning device 610 , which is preferably disposed at the bottom end of theside wall 470 . In addition, as shown in FIGS. 8 a and 8 b , theseat body 800 of thesignal connection seat 700 has asecond positioning device 620 . Thefirst positioning device 610 can engage with thesecond positioning device 620 to limit the relative displacement between thebody 400 and thebase 800 , as shown in FIGS. 9 a and 9 b. In this embodiment, thefirst positioning device 610 is a pair of blocks disposed on theside wall 470 , and thesecond positioning device 620 is a pair of hooks extending toward thesignal connection socket 500 . The hook engages with the block to connect the lightsource connection seat 500 and thesignal connection seat 700 . However, in different embodiments, thefirst positioning device 610 and thesecond positioning device 620 may also adopt reverse designs, that is, thefirst positioning device 610 includes a hook, and thesecond positioning device 620 includes a corresponding locking block. In addition, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 10b, thefirst positioning device 610 and thesecond positioning device 620 can also be omitted, and only the structural strength of the combination between thepin 430 and thesocket 830 is used to maintain the connection between the lightsource connecting seat 500 and the signal. The connection relationship between theconnection sockets 700.

250。As shown in FIG. 8 a and FIG. 9 a , the rear end of the hook forming thesecond positioning device 620 extends to form aforce applying arm 630 . When it is desired to separate the lightsource connecting seat 500 and thesignal connecting seat 700 , the paired force-applyingarms 630 are pushed inward, so that the hooks on both sides can be opened outward. At this time, the block forming thefirst positioning device 610 can be separated from the hook, so that the lightsource connection seat 500 can be pulled out from thesignal connection seat 700 . As shown in FIG. 9 a , thesignal source module 200 is provided with ahole 250 corresponding to theforce applying arm 630 . When thesignal connection base 700 is assembled on thesignal source module 200 , theforce applying arm 630 passes through thehole 250 .

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 11 , the backlight module further includes a supporting base 910 , a light shield 950 and a back plate 970 . The supporting base 910 is perpendicular to thelight source 100 and a plurality of lightsource connecting bases 500 are arranged at intervals thereon. In a preferred embodiment, the lightsource connection base 500 is integrally formed on the support base 910; for example, the support base 910 and the lightsource connection base 500 are simultaneously produced by injection molding. However, in different embodiments, the lightsource connection base 500 can also be disposed on the supporting base 910 by sticking or other additional methods.

As shown in FIG. 11 , the light shield 950 is connected and covered on the lightsource connection base 500 . The light shield 950 can shield the light emitted from the position near the end of thelight source 100 to reduce the possibility of light leakage. The light shield 950 is provided with a light source inlet 951 , and theelectrode end 110 of thelight source 100 protrudes from the light source inlet 951 and is electrically connected to the lightsource conducting portion 510 . In a preferred embodiment, the light shield 950 can also be produced integrally with the lightsource connecting seat 500 by injection molding or the like.

As shown in FIG. 11 , the supporting base 910 and the lightsource connecting base 500 are disposed near the end of the backplane 970 ; The back plate 970 can also support a reflector (not shown) or other optical elements. In order to connect the lightsource connection socket 500 to thesignal connection portion 700 disposed below the backplane 970 , a hole 971 is formed on the backplane 970 . Thesignal connection part 700 is connected to the lightsource connection base 500 through the hole 971 .
