The present invention is 8 pouch for retrieving and storing dog excrement in the environment and thlE article has been named Pooh Pouch.
It is desirable to have a pouch for picking up faeces which is easy to carry, easy to use and fashionable. The unique Peature of thi~ pouch is its inner glove which prevents hand contact with i'aecal matter.
The present inventlon conslsts of a pouch for retrievlng and storing dog excrement. In one aspect oP the invention the pouch is Etored in a sac. The sac has a detachable ring hook i~astener which is used to attach the sac and pouch to the dog's leash.
The pouch opens at the top with a drawstring. On the inside of the pouch there is an attached glove. The palmar aspect of the glove ~aces the inside of the pouch, and the fingers point toward the apex of the pouch. The right hand is inserted into the ylove and the pouch is inverted over the glove. ~ disposable plastic bag is placed over the glove and used to retrieve the ~aecal matter. The pouch is then pulled back over the glove and plastic bag storing the i'aecal matter inside the pouch. The drawstring iE closed and the apparatus is re-attached to the ring on the dog's leash.

Referring to the drawlngs, the embodiment of the invention shown, a pooh pouch 8 comprise~ a storage sac 2, a hook 6, and ring 4 fastener, a pouch 14, and an lnner glove 16. As may be seen in Figure 1, the storage sa~ 2 is attached to the handle of the dog's leash with the hook 6 and ring 4 apparatus.
The pouch 14 as described in Flgure 2 has a drawstring 12 opening. The drawstring 12 opens and closes the pouch 14 via a toggle 10.
The drawstrlng 12 toggle 10 arrangement opens the pouch 14 and the glove 16 on the inside of the pouch 14 can be seen, as outlined ln Flgure 3.
Invertlng the pouch 14, as seen ln Flgure 4, outllnes the lnner glove 16. A dlspo~able plastlc bag 1E placed over the glove 16 and used to retrleve khe Paecal matter. The pouch 14 ls pulled back over khe glove 16 and plastic bag storlng the excrement inside. The pouch 1~ is closed wlth the drawstrlng 12 tocJgle 10 apparatUE and reattached to the dog's leash.
The pooh pouch 8 ls made of a water reslstant llght weight material.
