Trata-se de uma composição de revestimento resistente à água para substratos graváveis por jato de tinta tendo um pH menor do que 7, que inclui: (a) uma dispersão aquosa de poliuretana; e (b) uma solução aquosa de um composto de fixação de corante polimérico contendo nitrogênio. Quando aplicada a um substrato adequado, a composição de revestimento permite o registro de imagens nítidas, resistentes à água.
