<Desc/Clms Page number 1>      Beschrijving     L UMBAAL   POSTERIEUR   IMPA CTEERBAAR   STABILISA TIE RAAM Het LUMBAAL POSTERIEUR IMPACTEERBAAR STABILISATIE RAAM is een medisch implantaat vooi gebruik in rugchirurgie . Het implantaat bestaat uit een composiet materiaal waarvan de componenten enerzijds een polyether-etherketon matrix en anderzijds een carbonvezelversterking zijn. De elasticitaits modulus van dit implataat is nagenoeg gelijk aan deze van cortikaal bot.    Het implantaat heeft een proximaal en distaal kontakteindvlak dat bezet is met trapezoïdale uitsteeksels (3) die zich als tanden vastzetten in de aanliggende wervellichamen Het implantaat is radiolucent. Teneinde het RX visualiseerbaar te maken, bevat het drie Titaniumstaafjes (2).    Het implantaat heeft een holle struktuur (4) om doorgroei mogelijk te maken.    De afmetingen van het implantaat stemmen overeen met de opgehoogde afmetingen van de geëvacueerde discus. Aan de voorzijde heeft Het LUMBAAL POSTERIEURIMPACTEERBAAR STABILISATIE RAAM een zelfdistraherende helling ( 1) om de opening aan posterieure zijde te vergroten tijdens de impactfaze. The implant consists of a composite material whose components are on the one hand a polyether-ether ketone matrix and on the other hand a carbon fiber reinforcement. The elasticitaits modulus of this implant is almost the same as that of cortical bone.   The implant has a proximal and distal contact end face that is covered with trapezoidal protrusions (3) that attach to the adjacent vertebral bodies like teeth. The implant is radiolucent. In order to make the RX visible, it contains three Titanium rods (2).   The implant has a hollow structure (4) to allow further growth.   The dimensions of the implant correspond to the increased dimensions of the evacuated disc. On the front it has LUMBAAL POSTERIORIMPACTABLE STABILIZATION WINDOW A self-distorting slope (1) to enlarge the aperture on the posterior side during the impact phase.
