In this class you will be using Canvas' graded quiz system to answer questions associated with each reading as a way of assessing your learning course concepts associated with the student learning objectives and for affirmation that you read the concent. You are scored for whether you get the answers correct, not just for participation.

• No collaboration is permitted between the student and anybody else. except the professor. Students must not tell each other the answers or post answers in public or private forums, etc. The goal is for each student to do the assessment on their own.

For each reading there is a set of 1-6 questions in the quiz section of Canvas that you need to answer. The quizes are named by the sequential number of the readings, and this also matches the numbering of the reading PDF files themselves. All readings are available in Canvas' Files.

• You can refer to the reading itself while taking the quiz- it is "open-book".
• You are welcome to refer to any and all videos, notes, books, and online resources you wish to answer the questions- except you cannot use any such resources that involve communicating with other people or getting help from other people.

Canvas will tell you whether you got the question right or wrong, and it may provide some extra information to help you understand why you got it wrong, depending on the question.
