Who We Are

Welcome to the Punjabi Association of Korea, a not-for-profit organization driven by volunteers with a mission to cultivate and enhance a thriving Punjabi community within Korea. Through a rich tapestry of cultural, educational, economic, charitable, and religious endeavors, our organization is dedicated to fostering the vibrant spirt of Punjab in the heart of Korea. While our focus deeply rooted in nurturing cultural and religious facets, we also orchestrate seminars and dialogues designed to acquaint the Korean community with Punjab’s essence, encompassing culture and religion.

One of our primary goals is the establishment of a Sikh Gurudwara Sahib in Seoul, a pivotal step towards to introducing Sikhism systematically in Korea. This spiritual sanctuary is poised to provide a place of worship for the local Sikh sangat residing in Seoul and across Korea. Furthering our commitment, we are catalysts for Korea-Punjab economic collaboration, actively seeking Korean investments across diverse sectors of Punjab’s economy. Our efforts extend to imparting education in Korean smart farming, equipping Punjabi farmers with knowledge to thrive in the era of intelligent agriculture. In the realm of education, we foster Punjab-Korea academic cooperation, assisting Punjab’s students in securing admissions to Korean universities and facilitating Korean students’ enrollment in Punjab universities.
