pandas.Series.str.rfind#

Series.str.rfind(sub,start=0,end=None)[source]#

Return highest indexes in each strings in the Series/Index.

Each of returned indexes corresponds to the position where thesubstring is fully contained between [start:end]. Return -1 onfailure. Equivalent to standardstr.rfind().

Parameters:

substr

Substring being searched.

startint

Left edge index.

endint

Right edge index.

Returns:

Series or Index of int.
