Hello Pete,
Thanks for your help with Wikipedia for Journalists. I really appreciate it.
Best wishes//Hannibal (talk)14:12, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
If you have the time, could you possibly help with the developing of some resources forOutreach Oceania? I'd like to basically develop a teacher guide for using Wikipedia in the classroom, create a student guide for using Wikipedia, Commons and Wikinews. I'd want to try to do them some what topically and generally: 1. English and Communications, 2. Business, Tourism and Marketing, 3. Science and Technology, 4. General Liberal Arts. I don't know if I should kind of focus on the idea of creating say a binder for each guide, where print materials can easily be put in or a general one part booklet. I see some bits and pieces on Wikimedia Outreach, but I'm not 100% certain they will all work quite right considering the objective is more about integrating Wikipedia into a classroom setting and showing the value for students. I don't want to make it so much about just learning the basics and at most, we'll probably have one to two periods in a classroom. Not much time. :( --LauraHale (talk)00:15, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Dear Pete,That was really nice to see you here and leadingoutreach however I can not find this place much crowded however it should be more the place where most of people should be coming and knowing about Wikipedia or Wikimedia, I have seen the admin rights are giving to everyone on this project, its like give away is going on here, I certainly can understand its a new project, but you need a proper team to work, this project as best as Wikipedia or any other project or Wikimedia, as I am part of team, now I want to take the leadership under your flag, I want you to set up an appointment with me on Skype so we can certainly talk on it and make it better place, What do you think??
I've talked with the stewards, and they suggest not blocking before a CU is done if the editors haven't edited or set off the abuse filter. Some of the stewards will do a CU on suspicious account creations like that, but some are more cautious. --Rschen775422:17, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

PerWikimedia:Inactivity policy, your account is due for having advanced user rights removed. If you would like to retain these user rights, please post a message on this talk page and use {{Ping}} to alert me. Note that this message is being sent to several users who are in the same situation and many have never used administrator tools. In the past, community standards were more lax about who received adminship or bureaucratship and between this policy and a furthersolicitation of consensus, we are reigning in some of the requirements for advanced user rights. You will also be receiving an email from me if you have it enabled.Koavf (talk)21:28, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
