OpenInfra Europe, a regional hub supported by the OpenInfra Foundation,builds and strengthens regional communities,empowers organizations to succeed with open infrastructure and becomeregional leaders with aglobal voice, and fosters communication to identify regional challenges and create a collaborative effort that serves as aunited front to address them.
Over 38% of OpenInfra Foundation members are based in Europe, and this regional hubpromotes and protects these open source communities and the technologies they develop, whileembracing andaccelerating global collaboration.
Based in Brussels, OpenInfra Europe’s mission is to grow and sustain a strong and vibrant regional ecosystem that collaborates openly to keep developing vital software technologies in the open.
In May-June 2024, community members attended OpenInfra Days Europe, a series of OpenInfra Days throughout Europe. Events took place in Sweden, Germany, Hungary, Türkiye and France. In addition, other regions including Switzerland participated with OpenInfra meetups!
