Patrik Schick signs contract extension at Bayer Leverkusen | OneFootball
Bayern Leverkusen forwardPatrik Schick has signed a five-year contract extension that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.
This was confirmed via Leverkusen’sofficial website where the 26-year-old expressed his delight to have put pen to paper on a new deal.

“I just feel good here, but above all, our team is a promise for the future,” Schick saidvia his side’s Twitter account.
“It’s a lot of fun with these guys and we really want to tear something up.
“Qualifying for the Champions League is a good next step. A lot is possible here, which is exactly why I extended my contract atBayer 04.”
Die Werkself sporting director Rudi Voller was also pleased to have retained the services of one of Europe’s hottest marksmen.
“Renewing with such a player is an expression of our ambitions and a clear sign that things will continue at the top level atBayer 04 Leverkusen even after my departure.
“That’s exactly what I promised on the last day of the Bundesliga match in the stadium.”
Schick was in fine form during the just-concluded campaign, netting an impressive 24 goals in 27 league outings – the second-most in the entire division behind only Robert Lewandowski – as Gerardo Seoane’s men finished third in the Bundesliga.
The Czech Republic international had been linked with a move away from the BayArena with Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Newcastle Unitedall thought to be interested but he has now put an end to those speculations by committing his long-term future to his current employers.
Having recentlyreached an agreement to sign Adam Hlozek from Sparta Prague, Leverkusen are shaping themselves up to be a formidable team in attack as they prepare to return to Europe’s premier club competition for the first time since the 2019/20 season.
