Kunda (Cikunda)

Kunda is a Bantu language spoken by about 160,000 people, mainly in Zimbabwe, and also in Zambia and Mozambique. In Zimbabwe it is spoken in the Guruve Distict in Mashonaland Central Province. In Zambia it is spoken particularly in the Mambwe District of the Eastern Province, and also in the Luangwa District of Lusaka Province, and in parts of the Central and Northern provinces. In Mozambique it is spoken in Tete Province.

Kunda is known as Achikunda or Cikunda in Zimbabwe, and as Chikunda or Cikunda in Mozambique. The native name of the language isChikunda. It is written in the Latin alphabet.
