ǂʼAmkoe is a Kxʼa language is spoken in parts of southeastern Botswana. In 2015 there were maybe 50 speakers of ǂʼAmkoe, which is also known as ǂHoan, ǂHȍã, ǂHûân, ǂHua, ǂHû, or ǂHȍȁn
The majority of ǂʼAmkoe speakers were born before 1960, and not all of them still speak the language fluently. Younger people speak other languages such as Gǀui, Kgalagadi or the Ngwato dialect of Tswana.
ǂʼAmkoe is spoken in three different areas of southeastern Botswana, each of which has its own dialect:
