Liron alphabet  Liron

Liron Script was invented by Ruth Hinckley to take notes while people were looking over her shoulder. The script is similar enough to English letters that it can still be read at a glance with a little practice. It was influenced by the Runic alphabets, and was designed to be written with only straight lines - vertical and diagonal - as if carving into wood or stone. The numbers were invented independently by Tom Cook, and added to the alphabet in a collaborative effort.

All characters are drawn with a downward motion, the vertical line drawn first followed by the diagonals. Though there are capital letters in Liron Script, these are primarily used for typing, and seldom for writing by hand. Both Ruth and Tom currently use the script to add flavor to their individual roleplay campaigns
