At its plenary meeting on 2 Sep 2022, ITU-T Study Group 17 noted that, according to anagreement between the Communications Authority of Kenya (Administration representing Kenya in the ITU) and the Kenya Bureau of Standards (organization representing Kenya in ISO), the Communications Authority of Kenya is the registration authority for the country OID of Kenya. This was further noted by ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 6 at its plenary meeting on 24 Mar 2023.
