Data Collections
European Social Survey (ESS)
A cross-national survey using high methodological standards to provide freely available data for 40 European countries. Sikt is data archive for the ESS survey.
Norwegian Survey Data
Data from Norwegian researchers, Statistics Norway and other research institutions. Top level documentation is available in English.
CESSDA Data Catalogue
The data catalogue of the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives, contains descriptions of the more than 40 000 data collections of their Service Providers, among them Sikt.
NorLAG (in Norwegian)
NorLAG is a life course study where we follow the same people, born between 1922 and 1966, over time. The study combines longitudinal survey and register data.
Microdata.no (in Norwegian)
microdata.no provides access to large amounts of detailed and linkable microdata without an application. The database contains data on all persons, families and households in Norway.
Forvaltningsdatabasen (in Norwegian)
This database contains surveys of the state's organization in ministries and administrative bodies in Norway after 1947.
