Backend Development
Hey Gang!
Its been a long time since I provided an update. I want to start off with a thank you for continuing to support my little project, thank you for continuing to follow along, share with friends and circulate my project around the internet. Somehow, despite the lack of updates, there is still continued interest in Boomer. I took a couple of months off of development to refresh the batteries and focus on the next phase of the development. I am back in the saddle and have been coding some much needed back end development.
Some of the lack of updates is due to the backend development that I have been working on that does not necessarily present itself as a shareable gif or screenshot. I have been working on improving the menu system, saving, loading progress, resetting progress. I have spent some time also improving mechanics and developing Game Managers that manage music and persistence. This is my least favorite part lol, and something I have been avoiding.
Things are moving along slowly, but moving nonetheless.
