Winnie is apeppyhorsevillager in theAnimal Crossing series who appears in all games to date exceptAnimal Crossing: Wild World. Her name is a reference to "whinny", an onomatopoeia for the sound a horse makes, and the given name "Winnie". Her catchphrase is a combination of "hay" and "A-OK". She can be seen in the cover ofAnimal Crossing: City Folk under atree reading a book.

InNew Horizons, Winnie has the fashionhobby and may be seen wearing a pink purse with a white flower on it, as well as a specific headwear or accessory item.

Appearance[edit]

Winnie is a light brown horse with a white muzzle and a yellow star on top of her forehead, which was bigger in theFirst generation games aside from her artwork in the North Americane-Reader card. She has grey hooves along with ears that have a blue interior and dark brown hair.

As a peppy villager, Winnie will always appear to be in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including theplayer. She will enjoy the usualhobbies, and may ask the player forbugs orfish that she finds cute or has read about inMs. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read bysnooty and peppy villagers inAnimal Crossing: Wild World. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future. She will get on well withnormal,lazy, and otherpeppy villagers, but may annoy snooty andcranky villagers with her upbeat personality.
