Wallpapers are items that can be applied to the walls of theplayer's house. In addition to individual wallpaper items, customdesigns can be applied to walls as wallpaper.

Most wallpapers can be obtained fromTom Nook's orTimmy and Tommy's store, while some can exclusively be obtained fromSaharah (Wendell inAnimal Crossing).

The international version ofAnimal Crossing introduces another three wallpapers—themushroom mural,ringside seating, andharvest wall—making for a total of 67. Thebathhouse wall andworn-out dirt wall fromDoubutsu no Mori andDoubutsu no Mori+ are also replaced by thewestern vista andbackyard fence, respectively, in the international version.
