Walker is alazydogvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. He first appeared inDoubutsu no Mori e+ and has appeared in all subsequent games. His name may come fromdog walking.
InNew Horizons, Walker has the playhobby and can run around with his arms extended at any time, rather than only outside Resident Services during a scripted activity with a group of villagers.

Walker is a dog with blank, blue eyes and a large grin. His fur color is black and white, with black legs and ears and white paws. His stomach is white.

As alazy villager, Walker has a relaxed, laid-back lifestyle and will appear friendly toward the player. He often talks about food and is humorous or naïve during conversations. During conversations with other villagers, he generally gets along well withpeppy,smug, andcranky villagers, whilesnooty andjock villagers may not get along with him due to their conflicting lifestyles. InNew Horizons, Walker goes to sleep at 11 PM and wakes up at 8 AM.

InDoubutsu no Mori e+, Walker can only move to the player's town if hise-Reader card is scanned. His card was one of six starter cards bundled with the game, alongsideMaggie,Rod,Merry,Angus, andWillow. Walker shares his catchphrase withBow, another lazy dog villager.
