Violet is agorilla in theAnimal Crossing series. She first appeared inDoubutsu no Mori e+ as apeppyislander, and after being absent inAnimal Crossing: Wild World, she returns inAnimal Crossing: City Folk as asnootyvillager. This makes her, alongsideHarry, the second villager to have their personality changed between games, the first beingRowan. Her name is derived from her fur color. FromAnimal Crossing: New Leaf onward, she shares her catchphrase withCandi, a peppymouse villager.

InNew Horizons, Violet has the fitnesshobby and will wearsporty shades and lift heavydumbbells while exercising.

Violet is a gorilla with pale pink skin and violet-colored fur, aptly fitting her namesake. Her beady black eyes each have one eyelash. She wears red lipstick, as well as pearls around her wrists, ankles, and forehead. Violet bears a strong resemblance toJane, another purple gorilla villager, specifically her western appearance.

Personality[edit]

Originally, Violet appeared inDoubutsu no Mori e+ with a peppy personality. She later returns inAnimal Crossing: City Folk with a snooty personality.

Doubutsu no Mori e+[edit]

InDoubutsu no Mori e+, Violet is a peppy islander. As a peppyislander, Violet has a haughty, forceful nature prone to telling the player how to behave. In conversation, she will often digress into stories about when she was a little girl and will boast about her past athletic prowess. Her bossy personality will often result in coaching the player in how they should hold themselves, play sports, and even how they should burp. Violet speaks using laid-back, rustic slang and will ask the player for items that remind her of when she was a little girl. This makes her similar to thebig sister villagers introduced inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf, though she would not inherit that personality in her future appearances.
