Sparro is ajockbirdvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. He first appeared inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf and has appeared in all subsequent games. His name comes from "sparrow".

InNew Horizons, Sparro has the playhobby and can run around with his arms extended at any time, rather than only outside Resident Services during a scripted activity with a group of villagers.

Sparro is a brown bird with a yellow beak who resembles aEurasian tree sparrow. He has a dark eye spot around his eyes and under his beak. The sides of his face are tan with a blush mark, which resembles the black ear spots the Eurasian tree sparrow has. He also has a tan abdomen and yellow legs.

As ajock villager, Sparro is energetic and has an interest in physical fitness and activity. He often talks about exercise or sports and may brag about his physical fitness. While often friendly to the player, he may comment on their fitness. During conversations with other villagers, he generally gets along well withpeppy villagers due to their similar hyper personalities and will also get along withsmug villagers, while he may offendsnooty villagers by critiquing their fitness and annoycranky villagers with his hyper personality. InNew Horizons, Sparro goes to sleep at 12:30 AM and wakes up at 6:30 AM.
