Sheep are a species ofvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. Their wool can vary in color and style, but all sheep have large curled horns, and they also seem to lack the ears of their real-life counterparts. In allAnimal Crossing series media up toAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp, sheep wear scarves bearing a clothing's design around their neck. However, inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, they can now wear clothing around their torso like other villager species.

There are sixteen sheep villagers, of which eleven are female and five are male, making it a predominantly female species. Of these, four arenormal, four aresnooty, three arejock, two aresmug, two arebig sister, and one ispeppy. There are nolazy or, as ofAnimal Crossing: New Leaf,cranky sheep, asCurlos was reclassified from cranky to smug.

Gen andWoolio are the only sheep who have not reappeared sinceDoubutsu no Mori e+. All of the sheep who appear inNew Horizons also appear inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
