Sea creatures, like fish, have a shadow that varies in size. Additionally, bubbles can be seen above a sea creature when swimming, and they may move slowly, quickly, erratically, or be completely stationary.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons introduces 13 more sea creatures, while three—theclam,ear shell, andhorsehair crab—do not return, making for a total of 40 sea creatures. One of the new creatures, themoon jellyfish, previously appeared inCity Folk and earlier games as a fish known simply as the jellyfish.
