Rocco is acrankyhippovillager in theAnimal Crossing series who appears in all games to date. His catchphrase, "hippie," is similar to the word "hippo," relating to his species.
InNew Horizons, Rocco has the educationhobby and can be seen wearingrimmed glasses, reading a novel while outside, and using a magnifying glass when near certain objects.

Appearance[edit]
Rocco is a turquoise hippo with peach-colored hooves. Some of his dominant features include his flaring nostrils, large fangs, and angry-looking eyes. He has deep pink in his ears and his mouth. He has eyelashes hanging from his eyes. His lower jaw is peach-colored.
Personality[edit]

Rocco is acranky villager. He resents mostlazy villagers because he does not understand their lifestyles, confirmed by the lazy andnormal villagers. He also bickers with most jock villagers, but thenormal villagers confirm that this is because he is good friends with them. As with all cranky villagers, he will stay inside for much of the day and come outside mostly at night to watch over the town.
