Reese is a pinkalpaca in theAnimal Crossing series who first appears inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf. InNew Leaf andPocket Camp, she operatesRe-Tail, and inNew Horizons, she is part of theWedding Season event. She often appears alongside her husband,Cyrus. The combination of "Reese" and the first syllable of Cyrus's name form the first two syllables of the word "recycle," a reference to one of the services that Re-Tail provides.

Reese is a white alpaca. Her fur, cheeks and lipstick are pink. She has black eyes with no visible pupils, and small eyelashes with each two on each eye. Her nose is also black. The insides of her ears are orange, while the inside of her mouth is reddish-pink. When working, she wears a reddish-orange apron with small blue crosses, two yellow buttons on each strap, and a pink heart pattern.

Reese is hard-working and loving, like her husband, Cyrus.

InNew Horizons[edit]

While initially absent fromAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, Reese was introduced in the 1.2.0April Free Update alongside Cyrus and the Wedding Season event. She appears in the aforementioned event alongside Cyrus onHarv's Island and asks the player to decorate a room in Photopia to match a specific wedding theme for her and Cyrus's wedding anniversary photo shoot. After a photo shoot is complete, Reese will reward the player withheart crystals.

With the release of the 2.0 update, Cyrus and Reese now have a venue open at the plaza on Harv's Island.

Reese's poster can be obtained fromNook Shopping after inviting her to Photopia via heramiibo. Additionally, Reese appears on theReese & Cyrus photo plate, which is received during Wedding Season.

Additionally, she appears on one of the lining face in theBrake Tapper item.

Prior to its removal in version2.0, when the player scans Reese'samiibo card and tries to invite her, she will say:

Hello, this isReese. Who may I ask is calling? Oh,Player!
To what do I owe the pleasure?
An invitation to yourcampsite? Well, that sounds...rustic. And quite charming! But...
It's just not a good time for us right now, so I'll have to politely decline. But I'm so happy you thought of me!

PAL: Their names make them sound like a pair of country singers, but they're actually the proprietors of Re-Tail. Reese deals in second-hand goods, while her husband, Cyrus, customises furniture. They might not do much singing together, but there's definitely harmony between these alpacas.
