Peck is ajockbird villager in theAnimal Crossing series. He first appeared inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf and has appeared in all subsequent games. His name likely comes frompeck, a common behavior of birds; it may also come frompec, short forpectoral muscles, referencing his jock personality.

InNew Horizons, Peck has the playhobby and can run around with his arms extended at any time, rather than only outside Resident Services during a scripted activity with a group of villagers.

Peck is a white bird with the top of his head being brown. He has white eyes, red eyebrows, and a pointed peach beak. His wings are gray with black wingtips and he has a brown tail. He is most likely based on a Java finch.

As ajock villager, Peck is energetic and has an interest in physical fitness and activity. He often talks about exercise or sports and may brag about his physical fitness. While often friendly to the player, he may comment on their fitness. During conversations with other villagers, he generally gets along well withpeppy villagers due to their similar hyper personalities and will also get along withsmug villagers, while he may offendsnooty villagers by critiquing their fitness and annoycranky villagers with his hyper personality. InNew Horizons, Peck goes to sleep at 12:30 AM and wakes up at 6:30 AM.
