Moe is alazycatvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. He first appeared inDoubutsu no Mori e+ and has appeared in all subsequent games. His catchphrase, "myawn," is a portmanteau ofmeow andyawn, which reflects both his species and personality.

InNew Horizons, Moe has the playhobby and can run around with his arms extended at any time, rather than only outside Resident Services during a scripted activity with a group of villagers.

Characteristics[edit]

Appearance[edit]

Moe inDoubutsu no Mori e+.

Moe is a dark blue cat with light blue swirling stripes on several areas of his body. He also has a pug-like nose, buck teeth and forgiving, half-opened eyes with yellow sclerae; his pupils are vertical, thin, and black. His ears are held straight and are a deep, strawberry reddish-pink on the inside. He has a blue striped tail, arms, and legs with white "socks" as paws and feet if one were to look up close. His muzzle is also white. Moe somewhat resemblesTom with the blue coloring on the upper head area.

As a lazy cat villager, Moe has a relaxed, laid-back lifestyle and will appear friendly toward the player. He often talks about food and is humorous or naïve during conversations. During conversations with other villagers, he generally gets along well withpeppy,smug, andcranky villagers, whilesnooty andjock villagers may not get along with him due to their conflicting lifestyles. InNew Horizons, Moe goes to sleep at 11 PM and wakes up at 8 AM.
