Medli is anormal bird villager inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo. She is based on the character of thesame name fromThe Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Her birthday is the same as the Japanese release date forThe Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on December 13, 2002.

Medli can only move to theplayer'stown if acompatibleThe Legend of Zelda amiibo is scanned and she is invited to move in from thecampground. She cannot be asked to move in from another player's town or campground.

Appearance[edit]

Medli is a beige bird with a white torso and white-tipped wings. She has short brown hair, red eyes, a yellow beak, and yellow feet. She wears a thin circlet around her head. She is stylized after Medli fromThe Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Her initial outfit is theMedli outfit, which is based on her outfit from that game.

Personality[edit]

As a normal villager, Medli will appear friendly and hospitable towards theplayer and other villagers. Like other normal villagers, she will have an unseen obsession with hygiene and cleanliness, which she mentions when the player visits her in her home. Other than her hygiene interests, she will appear neutral and open-minded when discussinghobbies. She will get along easily with other villagers, but may conflict withlazy villagers when they talk about food and leading her on to suggesting making them dinner or lunch. She may have trouble getting along withcranky,big sister, andsnooty villagers in general due to their mean-spirited nature.
