It appears inDoubutsu no Mori,Doubutsu no Mori+,Animal Crossing: Wild World,Animal Crossing: City Folk, andAnimal Crossing: New Leaf. The items in the set are a based on the JapaneseManeki-neko which are believed to bring good fortune. As such, all items are consideredlucky. The set started with two items before expanding to four inWild World.

While the Lucky Cat Set does not exist inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, thelucky cat andlucky gold cat are present in that game. InDòngwù Sēnlín, the set is replaced by thePiggy Bank Set.
