Koharu (こはる,Koharu?) is apeppykangarooislander inDoubutsu no Mori e+. She can only move toAnimal Island if here-Reader card is scanned.
Koharu (小春) is both a given name as well as a term for late autumn. According to the letter received when scanning her card at theeTM, her child is named Hiyori (ひより, a feminine given name that also means "weather"), so together their names createkoharubiyori (小春日和), a word for warm autumn days known as "Indian summer" in English.[1]

Koharu is a yellow kangaroo with large black eyes and a bright red nose. Her muzzle and the tips of her paws are a cream color, and Koharu also has small, pink cheeks. The inside of her ears are a light purple.

As a peppyislander, Koharu has a haughty, forceful nature prone to telling the player how to behave. In conversation, she will often digress into stories about when she was a little girl and will boast about her past athletic prowess. Her bossy personality will often result in coaching the player in how they should hold themselves, play sports, and even how they should burp. Koharu speaks using laid-back, rustic slang and will ask the player for items that remind her of when she was a little girl. This makes her similar to thebig sister villagers introduced inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf.

As an islander, Koharu'shouse inDoubutsu no Mori e+ will begin with only onefurniture item, along with theexotic wall andbamboo flooring. She will request specific items for the player to give to her, which she will place in her house. After she places two items in her house, she will upgrade herwallpaper, and after she places five items, she will upgrade herflooring.Flossie requests for the same items as Koharu, although her house has different wallpaper and flooring.
