Kidd is agoat in theAnimal Crossing series. He first appeared inDoubutsu no Mori e+ as alazyislander and remained absent from the series untilAnimal Crossing: New Leaf, where he returns as asmugvillager. He is the only smug goat in the series. His name likely comes fromkid, a name for a young goat.

InNew Horizons, Kidd has the educationhobby and can be seen wearingrimmed glasses, reading a novel while outside, and using a magnifying glass when near certain objects.

Kidd is a lilac goat with pink inside his ears, brown hair and half opened eyes with dark blue eyelids, fitting both the laid-back nature of his previous lazy personality, and the easygoing nature of smug villagers. His pupils shrink and turn red when he is surprised or shocked. He doesn't have a beard, much likeSherb, to whom he bears a passing resemblance.

As a lazyislander, Kidd is stoic and philosophical, in many ways the opposite of his mainland counterparts, often talking about forgoing worldly pleasures and society. This is similar to thecranky villagers, though he would not inherit the personality beyondDoubutsu no Mori e+.
