"K.K. Faire" is aK.K. Slidersong that first appears inDoubutsu no Mori. It is based upon traditional Okinawan folk music from theRyukyu Islands. The instruments include thesanshin (a banjo-like instrument), as well as the voice of an elderly man singing lead (K.K. Slider's vocal parts), with occasional cheerfulchants (the high wind instrument) that are often heard intraditional-style dances atJapanese festivals.
The song's composition is extremely similar to the Okinawan folk song

There is no text inNew Leaf cover, but inNew Horizons, the text reads the Japanese title of the song, "ハイサイけけ" (Haisai Keke).
