"K.K. Country" is aK.K. Slidersong that first appears inDoubutsu no Mori. It features a lively country guitar and a country drum kit. The genre invokes Americancountry music (hence its name), more specifically Southernfolk music. The song is similar to the background music in theMario Kart 64 courseChoco Mountain.
Album cover[edit]
The album cover for "K.K. Country" features K.K. Slider playing the guitar while sitting on a wagon outside of a barn. There are severalvillagers inside of the barn, includingBunnie dancing with abull (that could either beStu orT-Bone) at the entrance,Groucho peering outside nervously, andBuck andButch in the attic hoisting their cups into the air. The text at the top reads "K.K. COUNTRY." InNew Horizons, the album cover has a sketch styling.
While it is ambiguous if the album cover is portraying Stu or T-Bone, as they look fairly similar when viewed from the back, it is assumed that thee-Reader card artwork portrays Stu, and that it changes to T-Bone fromNew Leaf onward. The bull in the e-Reader card artwork appears to be dark blue with a light blue muzzle, heavily resembling Stu. However, the artwork portrays his horns as a solid orange-yellow color, which is more reminiscent of T-Bone, as Stu's horns are striped in-game. While it is more likely that the bull in the e-Reader card artwork is Stu due to the heavy color resemblance, it is possible that it is T-Bone, and the color discrepancies are attributed to the scene's lighting.
Although the album cover artwork remains unmodified between the e-Reader card andNew Leaf, it is still assumed that the portrayed bull changes from Stu to T-Bone fromNew Leaf onward. Generally, villagers who did not exist in the pre-Welcome amiibo version ofNew Leaf, but are portrayed in the e-Reader card artwork, are replaced by aNew Leaf villager of the same species. T-Bone is present in the pre-Welcome amiibo version ofNew Leaf, while Stu is not. "Steep Hill" involves a similar situation involving a portrayed character that is presumed to be altered, despite the artwork itself not changing.
