From Nookipedia, the Animal Crossing wiki
- For the collection of Japanese items in Wild World, City Folk, and New Leaf, seeZen Set.
TheJapanese Theme is afurniture theme that first appears inDoubutsu no Mori. It is a collection of Japanese-inspired furniture items. The theme was removed fromAnimal Crossing, with a few pieces reappearing inAnimal Crossing: Wild World as part of theJapanese Set. While many of the theme's original items were brought back inAnimal Crossing: City Folk, the collection's theme status was never renewed and it would remain a set both in that game and inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf.
