The sewing box can be obtained fromCrazy Redd's Furniture Emporium for 5,600Bells,[nb 2]Wisp, atreasure hunt, or trees when the player has goodluck. It does not have any color for the purpose offêng shui.

It has the unused name "sewing box" and uses the dummy model, a white triangle with red Japanese text reading ダミー (damī, dummy). Its name was also translated to other languages in the European version ofAnimal Crossing, with the name "costurero" in Spanish, "boîte à couture" in French, "Nähkästchen" in German, and "set da cucito" in Italian.
