TheHello Kitty Series is afurniture series and collection ofclothing that made its first appearance inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons as part of theSanrio collaboration, though thefurniture involved debuted inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo. It is inspired by the characterHello Kitty, one of Sanrio's most well-known characters. She is a white cat who wears a red bow. The items in the series are themed after the character herself.
Rilla owns eight items from the Hello Kitty Series inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo and ten items from the Hello Kitty Series inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons.

Eight items could be obtained for a limited time by purchasing theHello Kitty Cookie fromTimmy and Tommy from July 11, 2019 to September 2, 2019. The wallpaper, flooring, and backpack were available to be crafted for a limited time withLeaf Tickets in theHello Kitty and Cinnamoroll Collection during the same dates. The Hello Kitty outfit and Rilla's pic are obtained by reaching friendship levels 7 and 20, respectively, with Rilla.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons[edit]
While the Hello Kitty Series and Rilla herself were initially absent inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, they returned in the1.9.0 Free Update, in which scanning Rilla's amiibo card will allow the player to purchase Hello Kitty Series furniture and clothing atNook Shopping. Scanning Rilla's amiibo card atPhotopia would also grant the player the ability to order theHello Kitty poster.
Although theHello Kitty tee,Hello Kitty dress,Hello Kitty hat, andHello Kitty shoes are also unlocked from scanning Rilla's amiibo card and share the "Hello Kitty" name, they are not considered part of the Hello Kitty Series.
