Goats are a species ofvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. They have heads that are wider at the top, hooves, small ears, and short, slightly backwards-curving horns. Along with this, five of the goats have a beard, includingVelma, the only female goat with this trait.
Several goats were removed afterDoubutsu no Mori e+, leavingChevre as the only goat to appear in all games andNan as the only other goat to appear inAnimal Crossing: Wild World andAnimal Crossing: City Folk. However, many goats returned inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf, includingBilly inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, and the goatPashmina made her first appearance in this game.
There are ten goat villagers, of which six are male and four are female, making it a predominantly male species. Of these, two arelazy, two arenormal, two arejock, one iscranky, one issnooty, one isbig sister, and one issmug.Kidd was originally a lazyislander before becoming a smug villager inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf. There are currently nopeppy goats.
Iggy andSven are the only goats who have not reappeared sinceDoubutsu no Mori e+. All of the goats who appear inNew Horizons also appear inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
