The following is alist of events inAnimal Crossing andDoubutsu no Mori e+.

Many of theevents fromDoubutsu no Mori+ were replaced or removed inAnimal Crossing, with some new ones also being added.Doubutsu no Mori e+ carries over all of the events fromAnimal Crossing, with the addition of letters fromMom onBean-Throwing Day andTanabata, which were full events inDoubutsu no Mori+

January[edit]

New Year's Day (January 1):Tortimer greets the player with a happy new year, and the player can receive a random diary from him.

February[edit]

Groundhog Day (February 2): Tortimer appears on a podium in front of thewishing well, while fourvillagers stand by in anticipation ofMr. Resetti's appearance. Tortimer will give the player a gift.
Bean-Throwing Day (February 3;Doubutsu no Mori e+ only): Mom sends the player a letter mentioning the event.
Valentine's Day (February 14): Villagers of the opposite gender will send letters with gifts to the player.

March[edit]

SpringSports Fair (spring equinox): The player and villagers can participate in various activities like Gymnastics, Foot Race, Ball Toss, and Tug-o-War.

April[edit]

April Fools' Day (April 1): Special characters will prank the player. Tortimer will give the player a nonfunctional "prank" gameSuper Tortimer.
Cherry Blossom Festival (April 5 to April 7): All fruit trees will bloom pink. Tortimer will give the player apink tree model.
Nature Day (April 29): Tortimer will give the player advice about nature and atree model.

May[edit]

Spring Cleaning Day (May 1): Tortimer appears near the wishing well and will give adump model to the player. Villagers might ask theplayer if they have been cleaning.
Mother's Day (Second Sunday in May): Tortimer appears near the wishing well. He will give the player alovely phone.

June[edit]

Fishing Tourney (Every Sunday in June):Chip hosts a Fishing Tourney, where the player must catch only types of bass.
Graduation Day (Second Friday in June): Tortimer will present the player with a model of theAble Sisters, known as the Tailor Model, for all of their hard work.
Father's Day (Third Sunday in June): Dad will send the player a letter, and Tortimer will appear near thewishing well. If spoken to, he will give the player alocomotive model.

Fireworks Show (July 4): Tortimer can be found roaming in a randomacre and will give the player a decorativebottle rocket.
Tanabata (July 7;Doubutsu no Mori e+ only): Mom sends the player a letter mentioning the event.
Group Stretching (July 25 to August 31):Copper will conduct morning aerobics at the wishing well with four other villagers and the player.
Hometown Day (Randomly pre-determined day in July): Tortimer appears near the wishing well and gives the player one of 15 Station Models.

August[edit]

Meteor Shower (August 12): Tortimer will give the player a telescope for attending the event. During this event, the meteors can only be seen reflected through the lake, since the player cannot see the sky.
Founder's Day (August 21): Tortimer appears near the wishing well. He informs the player about the founding of the town and gives them aweed model.

September[edit]

Labor Day (First Monday of September): Tortimer will appear near the wishing well and will give the player ashop model.
Harvest Moon Festival (15th Day of the 8th Lunar Month): Tortimer will give the player amoon.
FallSports Fair (autumn equinox): The player and villagers can participate in various activities like Gymnastics, Foot Race, Ball Toss, and Tug-o-War.

Explorer's Day (Second Monday of October): Tortimer can be found outside of thetown hall. If the player speaks to him, they will receive abottled ship.
Mushrooming Season (October 15 to October 25): Five Mushrooms appear near random trees on different acres around town.
Halloween (October 31): Tortimer appears at the wishing well dressed asJack. Jack will appear in a random acre.

November[edit]

Mayor's Day (Day After the First Monday of November): Tortimer, who is at the wishing well, he will give the player a Well Model.
Fishing Tourney (Every Sunday in November):Chip hosts a Fishing Tourney, where the player must catch the only types of bass. InDoubutsu no Mori+, Tortimer will gift the player abass boat-wrap sushi. InAnimal Crossing andDoubutsu no Mori e+, Tortimer will instead gift the player afishing trophy.
Officer's Day (November 11): Town will celebrate its police officers,Booker andCopper.Tortimer will give the player apolice model.
Harvest Festival (Fourth Thursday in November): Tortimer and several villagers appear near the wishing well alongside three tables of food. Tortimer gives the player acornucopia.
Nook Friday (Fourth Friday in November):Tom Nook's store sells Grab Bags in place of non-furniture or clothing items, andRedd is guaranteed to appear in the player's town. Tortimer appears near the wishing well and will give the player amarket model

Snow Day (December 1): Tortimer, who is near the wishing well, he will tell them about the start of winter and give them a Snowman furniture item.
Toy Day (December 23 to December 24): On December 23, Tortimer appears near the wishing well and gives the player a gift. On December 24,Jingle will be out delivering presents.
Countdown (December 31): Tortimer appears near the pond along with the countdown board. Special music plays in the background and the animal villagers begin to congregate about the pond. Tortimer, before midnight, will give them anoisemaker; inDoubutsu no Mori+, he instead gives them theNew Year's Eve noodles

Doubutsu no Mori+-only events[edit]

Girl's Festival (March 3): Tortimer will appear near the wishing well. He will give the player alovely phone.
Boy's Festival (May 5): Tortimer will appear near the wishing well. He will give the player alocomotive model.
Bean-Tossing Festival (February 3): Tortimer can be found near the wishing well between 10 AM and 6 PM. He will give the player abean-throwing set.
Summer Day (July 20): Tortimer will give the player alife ring.

Special[edit]

Birthday: During the player's birthday, they will receive a birthday cake and a letter from theirmom with a present attached. The player will also receive letters from villagers with presents and be greeted at the player's front door by another villager.
Raffle (Last day of each month): During a raffle, five raffle tickets, which are obtained throughout the month from purchasing items from the store, can be used to haveTom Nook spin a container of balls, with one ball being dispensed.
One Day Sale (Weekly Slot): On the day of the sale, Tom Nook's store will follow a special schedule, operating normally most of the day but closing for one hour before and after the sale.
