Drama
Dramas[1] are situations that occur inAnimal Crossing: Wild World andAnimal Crossing: City Folk in whichspecial characters share information on their personal life with theplayer. When a drama situation is active, the character will be visibly depressed, and the player will be given an option to ask them what is wrong. Before dramas can occur, certain conditions must be met.
Appearances[edit]
InWild World[edit]
InAnimal Crossing: Wild World,Blathers,Pelly,Tom Nook,Mabel andSable have dramas if their conditions are met, which are different for each character. Series of dramas occur at frequent intervals throughout the year, and each drama is three days apart (except for the first and second dramas in a series which are four days apart). Theplayer must hear the first drama to hear all subsequent dramas, but dramas can be heard at least a day late if the player does not play on the exact date scheduled for a drama. ForBlathers andPelly, the player can either ask them what is wrong or to get to work (wherein the player can use that character's services as normal).Tom Nook andMabel will simply add 'What's wrong?' to their list of options when the player talks to them.
