Dora is anormalmousevillager in theAnimal Crossing series who appears in all games to date. Her name may come from thedormouse. Her catchphrase, "squeaky," is a reference to the sound that mice make. Her favorite saying inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf onward is a reference to the proverb "The squeaky wheel gets the grease."

InNew Horizons, Dora has the educationhobby and can be seen wearingrimmed glasses, reading a novel while outside, and using a magnifying glass when near certain objects.

Appearance[edit]

Dora is a white mouse with a black nose and pink blush. There is blue on the tips of her feet and inside her ears. When she is surprised, she has a thin little outline around her eyes making a sclera.

Personality[edit]

Below is a brief description of thenormal personality. For more information, clickhere.

Dora has a normal personality, which means she will appear shy and caring. She will become upset easily, usually when the wrong things have been said, or when she asks theplayer for help, for which them on their speed after completing the tasks. InAnimal Crossing: Wild World, she will mention an imaginary friend calledMoppina, which reflects on her unseen cleanliness and hygiene obsession, which she will mention when the player enters her house. She will partake in the usualhobbies for relaxing reasons, but may on occasion have friendly competitions against the player for something to do. If the player tells her "I don't need you," Dora will be deeply upset by this and the chances of her moving away greatly increases.

Dora will get along with all thevillagers in the town, appearing as the motherly or elder sister type character tolazy andpeppy villagers. She will get along well withsnooty villagers, who will enjoy her compliments, but she may become upset when talking tocranky villagers, who enjoy criticizing and planting false information on others.
