Digby is adog who works at theHH Showcase inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf. Speaking with him allows the player to access the model home area, where the houses of people the player has StreetPassed with are displayed. He is the younger twin brother ofIsabelle. His name, which is a standard given name, may also derive from the associated behavior of dogs digging holes.

Appearance[edit]
Digby is a brownShih Tzu dog with small eyes, which have black irises and white pupils, brown hair with one or two small tufts sticking out on top of his head, dark-brown ears, eyebrows and nose, pink freckles on his cheeks, gray lips, and some brownish-white on the center of his face and muzzle at the end of his tail.
Clothing[edit]
When working, Digby wears a white shirt, a yellow tie, a red jacket with a pocket and white/silver buttons, dark-blue pants, and dark-brown shoes. On rainy and snowy days, he wears a yellow hoodie/raincoat, which has two pockets (each one on each lower side), and mostly leaves it opened. His hoodie/raincoat also appears inAnimal Crossing: amiibo Festival as his Lv. 2 outfit for theBoard Game.
Personality[edit]
Like his sister, Isabelle, Digby is hard-working. He is loyal to his company and loves to do his job well. Even though he is still new, he tries his best. Digby is very caring, and loves his older twin sister, Isabelle.
Appearances[edit]
InNew Leaf[edit]
Digby, alongside his twin sister, first appears inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf as the owner of the HH Showcase. If the player speaks with him, Digby will allow the player to browse the model homes of players that have been encountered via StreetPass.
InNew Horizons[edit]
While initially absent fromAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, Digby makes his return in the 2.0 update, where he can be invited toThe Roost orHarv's Island via hisamiibo, the latter of which will also allow the player to obtainDigby's poster fromNook Shopping.
Digby is also mentioned (albeit not by name) by Isabelle during the daily island broadcast, where she may say, "My brother asked me to give him a wake-up call this morning and it totally slipped my mind!"
InHappy Home Designer[edit]
Digby reappears inAnimal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, now as an employee ofNook's Homes, alongsideLyle,Lottie, and the player. Digby in this game functions as a means to edit any public works projects created with Isabelle. The player can also edit Digby's own home if his amiibo is scanned in the amiibo phone.
InPocket Camp[edit]
InAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Digby is the host of the gardening event Digby's Artful Retreat. He can also appear in the player's campsite if the player crafts the Digby's Hammock item. Digby is also one of the judges at theHappy Homeroom.
