Cookie is apeppydogvillager in theAnimal Crossing series who appears in all games to date exceptAnimal Crossing: Wild World. Hercatchphrase, "arfer," likely comes fromarf, an onomatopoeia of a dog's bark. Her name may be a reference to the baked good of thesame name; cookies are referred to as biscuits in many English-speaking countries except for the United States, anddog biscuits are a common dog treat.

InNew Horizons, Cookie has the fashionhobby and may be seen wearing a pink purse with a white flower on it, as well as a specific headwear or accessory item.

Appearance[edit]

Cookie is a light pink dog with a white stripe from the top of her head that goes down to circle her mouth as a muzzle. She also has large, black eyes that have small sparkles in them. The tip of her paws are white, as is the tip of her tail. Her nose is brown, and her ears are a darker shade of pink than her arms and legs.

As a peppy villager, Cookie will always appear to be in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers, including theplayer. She will enjoy the usualhobbies and may ask the player forbugs orfish that she finds cute. She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span like many of the peppy villagers, she will easily forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future. She will usually get along well withnormal,lazy, and otherpeppy villagers, but may annoysnooty andcranky villagers with her upbeat, very cheery personality. InNew Leaf, she will wake up at 9 AM and falls asleep at 1 AM.
