Cece is apeppysquirrelvillager inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo andAnimal Crossing: New Horizons beginning in version3.0. Her birthday is the same as the Japanese release date forSplatoon. She is the younger sister ofViché.^[1]

InAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, Cece can only move to theplayer'stown if Callie'samiibo is scanned and she is invited to move in from thecampground. She cannot be asked to move in from another player's town or campground. InNew Horizons, she can be invited to the player'scampsite if one of severalcompatibleSplatoon amiibo is scanned.

InNew Horizons, Cece has the playhobby and can run around with her arms extended at any time, rather than only outside Resident Services during a scripted activity with a group of villagers.

Cece heavily resemblesCallie from theSplatoon series. Her overall color scheme is magenta, purple, and black, with the insides of her ears and her nose being blue. Her fur is light purple, which in places fades to darker purple, representing her hair. She wears a pink-and-white hat, and her golden eyes are heavily outlined in black. Her eyebrows are also black, and she appears to be wearing theCallie shoes andCallie tights.

InNew Horizons[edit]

Cece is completely redesigned to resembleShiver, with a white face, blue eyes and eyebrows. Blue fur shaped to resemble hair drapes across one half of her face, and is covered by two suckers. Her mouth and paws are red, and her tail is a blue and white swirl.

As a peppy villager, Cece will always be in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including the player, making it easy to befriend her and gain her picture inAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo. As with other peppy villagers, she loves candy and sweet food. Peppy villagers take offense quite easily and may walk away upset rather than angry when the wrong things are said in a conversation between her and theplayer or another villager. She may be the target forcranky villager jokes and pranks.

InAnimal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, Cece's skill of "cosplay" references her Callie cosplay. Cece's goal of "stylist" may be a reference to thegear that the player can equip in theSplatoon series. InSplatoon, gear is an important game mechanic that revolves around collecting fashionable pieces of clothing that can provide useful stat bonuses during gameplay.

Trivia[edit]

• Cece and Viché's names combine to form the word "ceviche," a seafood dish. This references how Callie and Marie's names combine to form "calamari," another seafood dish.
  • Their favorite sayings go together, as well. In Cece's, she says that "Too heads are better than one!", which Viché corrects as "TWO heads are better than one!"
• Cece's catchphrase is the exact same as the catchphrase theSquid Sisters use after each news broadcast in theSplatoon game.
  • Despite this, Viché's catchphrase is unique and not also "stay fresh," instead being "splatastic," despite her being the other half of the Squid Sisters Crossover.
