Bear cubs are a species ofvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. They have rounded ears and spherical tails. Bear cubs are a smaller version ofbears, which also have wider heads. They are the only species based on the child stage of an animal.

There are twenty bear cub villagers, of which eleven are male and nine are female, making it a predominantly male species. Of these, six arelazy, four arenormal, three arejock, two arepeppy, two arecranky, two aresnooty, and one isbig sister. There are currently nosmug bear cubs.

Aisle,Cupcake, andPoko are the only bear cubs who have not reappeared sinceDoubutsu no Mori e+. All of the bear cubs who appear inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons also appear inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
