Bears are a species ofvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. They have rounded ears and spherical tails. They are a taller version ofbear cubs, along with having a slightly wider head.
There are sixteen bear villagers, of which ten are male and six are female, making it a predominantly male species. Of these, five arecranky, three arebig sister, two arelazy, two arepeppy, two aresmug, one isnormal, and one isjock. All big sister bears appeared in previous titles and were of different personalities;Charlise andPaula were previously peppy, andUrsala was previouslysnooty. Due to this latter fact, there are currently no snooty bears.
Dozer is the only bear who has not reappeared sinceDoubutsu no Mori e+. All of the bears who appear inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons also appear inAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
