Azalea is asnootyrhinocerosvillager in theAnimal Crossing series. After her debut inDoubutsu no Mori e+, she would remain absent from the series untilAnimal Crossing: New Horizons version2.0. Her name is a type of flower, referring to the flower markings around her horn and on the back of her head. Her catchphrase, "merci," is French for "thank you."

InNew Horizons, Azalea has the naturehobby and may be found reading a book pertaining to an item she is studying, which can be either flowers, bugs, fish, or fossils.

Azalea is a light blue rhinoceros with a white flower around her yellow horn. Another white flower is on the back of her head. Her lower jaw is white. She wears pink eyeshadow and is very pale. She has gray, tired eyes, and the inside of her ears match her eyeshadow, which is pink.

Azalea has a snooty personality. She will often mock other villagers. She will appear rude and mean to theplayer at first. She will likecranky villagers, due to their similar rude personalities. Azalea however, will not get along withjock villagers due to them questioning her fitness. She will also not get along withlazy villagers, since the lazy villager won't care about his physical appearance angering her.
